Cst. Stefan Moxness and RCMP Police Service Dog (PSD) Moxy

RCMP police dog handlers and their police service dogs (PSD) go to work together every day and provide a service that no other units can. They are highly trained in tracking and finding suspects, evidence, or missing persons. The relationship between a police service dog and their handler is unique, given that they spend most of their time together. In this video, Cst. Stefan Moxness from Surrey, B.C. introduces you to his PSD Moxy and shares their special bond and the work they do together.
There is more than 160 police dog teams at the RCMP. No other organization or agency in Canada has more fully trained and operational police dogs. We’re in a unique position to develop training and programs relating to police dog enforcement.
