Thank you. I feel it getting easier every time I do it. I had knee surgery 7 months ago and even a month ago was feeling defeated, robbed, scared that I had lost my ability to sit cross legged ever again (from a previously flexible person and meditation teacher who really loves this pose for meditation). Now I can sit, with pillows for props, but without discomfort. I feel like I am at home in my meditation practice again. So thank you, Bird, for this video, this is the impact you are making in people's lives.

Very well demonstrated. Thank you! I have a hard time sitting in cross legged position. I now sit at the edge of the cushion and doing much better, yet my legs ache a bit. so maybe I need more practice.
Have you ever read the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle? I started getting into yoga a few weeks ago but your the only channel i subscribed too. I love how you mix in meditation with your yoga practice. I can clearly see that you live very in the moment during your yoga videos. Thank you for being yourself. ❤️👌

Hi.. So i can sit with my legs crossed and i sit comfortably but my knees are high up from the ground. What exercises can i do to make my knees be on the ground while sitting crossed leg. Can i just continue practicing everything in this video? I'm already comfortable how i sit just would like to be more flexible and have my knees lower...
Ofcourse! For the meantime. You can have the knees about hip distance apart feet in line with the knees and place as many books or pillows between the legs so they support your seat. As high as you need.

Place pillows under your knees 🙏🙏
@@YogaWithBird Thank you!! I was placing pillows, but that is uncomfortable too as my knees eventually relaxes and touches the floor after a few mins.
