Question. Just use 10w40 oil for an automatic transmission? I thought there might be a different specialty oil. Isn't the oil the same for the transmission and engine?
That light indicates overheating. Last time it happened to me I had a jam in my cooling fan which also caused the fuse to pop. Cleared the fan, replaced the fuse, and it ran good after that. I'd check there first, and also verify sufficient coolant levels
I owned a 2005 Yamaha Grizzly 660 and oil change’s were much easier on it than my Honda Rincon . I believe I used a k&n 2006 oil filter and with the welded nut on the filter of the k&n it made the oil change a breeze !
Mine does a good job. It doesn’t like wet heavy snow though. Not heavy enough and the back end wants to swing around on me. That’s when I fire up the kubota

It shouldn't matter its the same either way, you could have the date code on the side facing out if you'd like

Depends on the condition of the filter. I would do both always
Took me 20 minutes to put the oil in because of that goofy 90 degree bend in the fill spout
