After I was done looting the first things and headed in the desert temple, I went down and then got blown up by a stupid skeleton that spawned in the bottom of the pit and stepped on the pressure plate.
I like how it's "everything goes wrong" and the thumbnail is a creeper fixing to blow up a nether star, the only item in the game that's explosion-proof in item form lol

actually, looting works just fine with thorns etc. just hold sword in main hand, before mob dies. you can test it by yourself. equip full thorns set, hold looting sword, look at enderman (don't hit it!), enjoy your extra pearls. =)

After all these years of playing Minecraft I still never know why creepers explode instantly when falling, especially at desert temple clips. Was this a hidden mechanic somewhere?
creeper jumps down to a player if it can survive the fall but it starts the 1.5 second countdown before falling so when it lands the timer goes off and it explodes. it is not really hidden mechanic you just never paid attention to it.
2:17 there is a reason why there was so many Wither Skeletons here and that is because the fortress is on a soul sand valley which spawns a lot of Skeletons there is a reason why whenever I build a Wither Skeleton farm I look for a Nether Fortress that is on top of a lava lake and on a soul sand valley biome
