Great video mate, very insightful. 👍🏻
Thank you! Glad you liked it
@@MattLunaFishing I've just started out bait making this year and it's great trying new techniques. I'm very limited with my tools to hand but I've found thats made me more creative😅. I'm guna try Senko 3" stick worms with this core method, thinking of imitating bait fish in the sea, so light green outer or dark blue outer and really silver glittery cores.
That sounds like a pretty cool color. Bait making is really fun and rewarding when you catch fish on your own baits!
Cool process man. Dig n the color too!
Thanks! Glad you liked it! I’ve got some for sale on my website if you’re interested. No worries if you’re not! Thanks for watching! Appreciate it!
Very good video & commentary. I'm not much for "core shots" & injection as a hand pour baitmaker. But I like seeing the craft evolve & see others work. Keep up the great work Matt. Very good channel & knowledge.
Thanks for watching. The hand pouring is an art! I don’t have the patience for it! Lol
Such a great hack. Looks great
Thanks. They turned out pretty cool
Another great informative video Matt. Thanks.
You’re welcome! Thanks for watching!
Nice Matt. Those core shots look awesome.
Thank you! Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!
WOW those look pretty cool Matt! Imma head over and see what you have on the site!
Thanks! Glad you like them. I don’t have a ton of stuff up on there now, but those ned worms are on there, along with a face buff and sticker.
Great idea never seen anyone use old bait 🇺🇸🇺🇸Trump 2024🇺🇸🇺🇸
Those are dope, I would love to see a clear/pearl with that midnight blue in the core. Would 100% buy
The clear pearls are super hard to get consistent. The colorant yellows sometimes if it gets too hot and those clears colors are so hard to keep clear
@@MattLunaFishing Try dead on plastics plastisol for clearer baits. Soft baits for colored.
I’ll look into that
Great video Matt! I thought the baits looked cool!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!
What size rod did you use? 1/8" ? Your channel is very informative and to the point. Keep it going
1/8 is probably right. I don’t remember for sure. Thanks for watching the video and I’m glad you like the channel.
Need to open both ends of your bait good video
Thanks for the tip. Appreciate you watching! Glad you liked the video
If you had to choose one mold for chatterbait trailers what would it be? I wanna try to learn how to make plastics for the chatterbaits I made
The quakin shad mold would be a really good one
Go here and search “quakin shad” store.do-itmolds.com/?AffId=5
Alrighty will do thank you!
where do i find the aluminum molds for plastic baits? Please send link.
Get them here: store.do-itmolds.com/?AffId=5
Have you tried the same method on the Do-It 5" Sinko mold? I've been wondering if it would work... Great video bud!
It does
It would work just the same. Just need to find the right diameter rod to make the hole through the bait.
Get sign wire holder from wally world. It is thw straight rod that has one turn in it. .94 a piece
Good advice. I got this wore from Home Depot. Still wasn’t expensive but also not that cheap.
What size rod did you use sir
I don’t remember the specific rod size. I got the rod at Home Depot
Ok new to this what is flashing??
Flashing is when you get plastic outside the mold cavity
Chartreuse with royal/navy blue middle, to look green ….maybe.
Could catch fish easy on any of those screw ups
Gonna check your website. Would love to fish with screwups.
To save money and for fun. Hoping you have budget/screwup packs for sale
🙏from,
🌵🧀🐠
Thanks for heading over to the website. I don’t really sell much of the stuff I make. I do on occasion, but don’t have a stock of soft plastics. Thanks for watching the video!
I pour baits also. Go to a bar screw clamp and that well end your flashing . Those spring clamps are not strong enough. FLC
Thanks. I use both. I use the sling claps just when i do one mold, but you’re right the other ones are better. Thanks for watching and giving me the tip!
