Yeah some clear with silver flake and a dark blue bloodline. Also a clear and gold and silver flake with a chartreuse on the swimbaits would be what I would need. That's a great idea.
Wow. I've spent so much money on my kids fishing group. O never got any core shots for the kids. Been looking a d buying for a year and fixen to make a state to state fishing trip finding special kids and blessing them with baits and gear. Can't weight. But maybe I'll find a auction or good deal on some colors. It you did great with your dke first try. Good job sir. God bless
My first injection mold hasn't even arrived yet, but I was thinking about how to set up a coreshot in the ripper mold. Wonder if anyone has made a video of ...bingo. Your video answered a couple of the questions rattling around in my brain...thanks.
Holy crap bro those are beautiful, just like the swirl ones u made a few vids bak, I wanted so bad to order 2pks of each but my daughters computer costed more than I expected, but rest assured brother on the 26th, be expecting me to email u about those swirl piks and now these beautiful babies, they gonna kill in clear water. Great job.
Awesome video! Thanks for the tutorial. Curious, I know there is a huge interest in core shots lately in shooting plastics but wondering if they catch fish any better or what the intrigue is. Thanks!
I think alot of it is for the look and fun or it. But there are some small instances where it may help. For example you can give a lot closer look of a rainbow trout in a stick bait with a pink core shot. I am not totally convinced that it catches any better though
@@B_the_Cameraman Also, how can i prevent air bubbles? I usually pour the plastic into my injector rather than sucking it up. Also, If i put my baits in a bag they will go lob sided. how can i prevent that?
Ok I have something for you I’m going to let you in a secret but want to see it made. Ok best all time plastic ever made for every age for almost any species is the k&E bass stopper. Just amazing for a turd of a plastic lure it is but always always produces. I absolutely love and only color I ever use was purple with the white stripe on it. I myself of course have upgraded to the Senkos for size and weigh obviously. Now I go with purple either junebug or red flake but I have experimented with the white strip on it and always I mean always go through the whole pack. The only way I can do it is to mark the line with the paint marker and is messy and a pain in the arss plus it’s not as brilliant or permanent as I want. Make a badass purple senko with a white stripe on it and omg $$$. No one has it and this is on the right tack these core shots. Let me know I tie flies and build rods but not the plastics. I really need this in my arsenal ty mr J rods
Yes. It fishes great. It does have a matte finish because the mold is a sand cast mold but that can easily be remedied by simply spraying cooking spray like Pam in the mold before shooting your plastic. It will come out glossy

What did you use the cut the rods? Do they have smaller ones say for crappie and panfish baits?
Baby bass would be clear with green core but black tail!

Need to paint the inside black high temp 500 and they will come out glossy
Spraying with cooking spray does the same thing also

Hello friend, I'm from Brazil. This Ripper mold is 3.5 ", right? What did you think of the bait finish?
Yes. It fishes great. It does have a matte finish because the mold is a sand cast mold but that can easily be remedied by simply spraying cooking spray like Pam in the mold before shooting your plastic. It will come out glossy
