1:55 I dare you to find a track with a more crushing chorus than this, Pete and Erik just redlining the murder engine.
the ending guitar solo is epic
You can kinda tell the difference between the song writers. Trey is usually blazing fast or slow and doom like, usually able to grasp the concept of the song and has ripping solos. Eric makes abominations (I mean that in a good way) of chaos and uncontrollable songs that are heavy, but when that solo kicks in it’s super emotional, and you can feel every part of it.
Truth! The cool thing about Rutan is that he writes some chaotic stuff, some riffs divided into 17/5 times (joking). However, if we listen carefully, we can hear everything he is doing. To exemplify, see his work on Krisiun's Conquerors of Armageddon, simply sensational, the guy has a good hand for production and creativity.
Trey Azagthoth is a creative genius in my opinion
This song was made by Rutan, but yeah, Trey is a genius.
Rutan is Better
@@briantomek587 How is Rutan better when Trey created Covenant? sorry bro. Rutan is a monster, but you can't compare.
@@briantomek587 if anything, I’d say the two compliment each other just perfectly. Erik and Trey work together like bread and butter.
@@briantomek587 Rutan wouldn't be a thing in Morbid Angel if it wasn't for Trey, he literally made the band.
epic solo by Rutan, so cool this duo of Trey+Erik
You can def hear the Hate Eternal sound with this song.
I mean I think this entire song was actually written by Erik so that makes sense
Heck yeah! Rutan was all over the place when he wrote the riffs for this sick track! Awesome stuff indeed! \m/
@@sirmoony5633 Yep. Tucker's lyrics, Rutan's music. And that means awesome output.
It's mostly a reflection of life's reality.
You hear that Eric sound on some of his new cannibal corpse songs too.
Erik Rutan wrote most of this song and plays the solo at 2:26. Best album of all time
He wrote the whole song
I honestly rate this and Heretic as they're weakest releases, but in saying that, still love them hard 🤘🤣
The second solo is one of the best solos in metals history. This is an undeniable fact of life.

2:26 possibly my favorite morbid angel solo ever!!!!!!!
Lee Torry Trey prefers bizzare scales and he often produces sounds that are so strange and good at the same time..For me each one of them is a beast. Cheers.
such a majestic riff
@@leetorry and at 2:26 thats how Rutan created the main riff for "To Know Our Enemies" from I, Monarch
@@headsplitter46 That's Erik Rutan's solo
I agree
That solo feels like If Satan had a Soul once and he's tired even of eternity himself
This album is somethin beyond
Oh my ears 2:27
Γάμησε τα
Trey is a fucking guitar God
Sandoval a fucking drummer god
Rutan a fucking beast
LEGENDS
This Morbid Angel rules
god that solo is so good
insane drumming
The solo is what you hear when a god descends upon earth
My most favorite song in this epic album 🍺🤘🏻
fuck yes....flawless offering to the ancient ones.
Anyone also love the production on this one?
I do. I think its one of their best albums in my opinion.
I do too,I think this particular album a perfection production wise and musically simply brilliant!
@@joedeathcarnage2396 I really enjoyed your covers of " I" and " summoning redemption" ! You nailed the solos. You and Patrick Bonvin are the 2 best Morbid angel cover artists in my humble opinion!
@@joshpelton8068 Thanks man, I truly appreciate that, in the name of Patrick as well, he is a great friend of mine, excellent guitarist!
OH MY MORBID GOD! WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THIS SONG?!!!
The best solo!!!
One of my favourite songs of Morbid Angel
Lyrics:
I've seen visions awakening
Drawing timeless life to an end
I've felt forces pulling at me
And I have rejoiced in them
I've heard voices calling names
I have reveled in their beckoning
For the voices that summon me
Have grown immense
My senses keen with desire and pain
Senses heightened by my need to see
To feed the hunger that I feel inside
Awake my soul to ecstasy
My father the forsaken
The king of blasphemy
They cower at your name
They live in ignorance
They hide behind a doctrine
That has taught them only lies
Now let them see
Thy world, immaculate
I've seen visions awakening
Drawing timeless life to an end
I've felt forces pulling at me
And I have rejoiced in them
I've heard voices calling my name
I have waited for their beckoning
For the voices that summon me
Bring the gift of bliss
best MA album for all time
The whole song like a classical music piece, especially Rutan's solo and the rhythm guitar part under the solo, no question there is some Mozart influence, which is absolutely brilliant! Trey and Erik fuckin rules!
Eric Rutan + Trey. Thy Gods.
Might be the best possible MA song ever! \m/
solo 2:26
Masterpiece ❤️🔥🤘🏻👊🏻
For me this is the best song of this badass fucking album...AAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!
brutal album!!
epic album, amazing ending
Perhaps the greatest Death Metal album ever. That's why I'm delighted that David Vincent left. Back to "Gateways" lineup.
Luís Maciel Not exactly. Rutan did not play in the new album and Sandoval will never return (not only because of the burned bridges, but also because he can't play as fast as he could anymore)
@@branlopgar if he speed would have been a problem then he couldn't blast in the most recent Terrorizer album....
branlopgar Rutan may not have played on the new Kingdoms Disdained album but he had a big hand in its writing.
@@jamesleclair842 No, Kingdoms Disdained was written by Morbid Angel, and recorded and produced by Erik at his studio. He didn't write any material.
Nyarlathotep, the Crawling Chaos I’ve seen an interview with Steve which stated that some of the guitar parts were inspired by Erik. I’m gonna leave it at that.
Best solo in the world best song
Excellent song from my favorite MA album
THE KING OF BLASPHEMY
The heavy Death Metal Gods!
I think it doesn't get any more evil in death metal like that.
I saw them on tour for this at the Al Rosa in Columbus rip Dimebag
Pray for plagues bring me the horizon inspiration Morbid Angel
Im dyslexic right and i thought the title said god of the foreskin😂
😂😂😂
Is Total Music...
3rd best morbid album? No 4th. Behind blessed, Covenant, and formulas.
Blessed is great and has my favorite song, but I don't get why some people think it's their best. This beats Blessed, it has better composition, more technical, way better leads, better production, its cohesive etc.
@@Spongebob-lf5dn agree to disagree on that. There is a crazy focused energy in blessed are the sick that has never been recaptured on any other death metal album in my opinion. Also most people crap on Illud, which is understandable for over half of the album. But there are five or six songs on there that are god-like
@@BDreGaming Sure there's energy, but that album's biggest problem for me is that there's two different styles of MA on there. David's voice is changing, they have the thrashy stuff and the new style, which is fine (covenant for example) but you can tell they just discovered this new style. And I personally can't recall any memorable leads. The lead tone isn't that great either. Trey and Richard's soloing styles are too similar. The production is lacking. Still, the music is great. With Illud, I don't really like that style of music for MA specifically, but there are some really killer solos on there.
My favorite is Formulas, then Blessed, then Gateways and then Covenant and Altars. But they are all magical and I think it is wonderful how different people enjoy different sides to Morbid Angel more.🤘🏻
Crazy
🤘🖤🤘
The solo remembers me of megaman x song
Black death metal cru do caralho
