He could have also eaten a piece of Whitebeard... it was already explained ( ithink in enies lobby), that no matter how small a piece of devil fruit you eat, you get the full power. Maybe that only works after the person is dead and before the devil left the body of the person.

I'm banking on Oda tying devil fruit ressurection into a very old plot point for the strawhats. At some point a very important devil fruit, or a fruit from someone they care about will appear in Nami's Mikan grove on the Thousand Sunny. I'd bet it'll either be a fruit that would suit Nami that she'd eat as it's from her Mikans, or it'll be Sabo dying and the Strawhats not realising until later they have the meramera no mi.

About eating the person with a devil fruit, I believe you would have to be able to consume them whole, so that when they die, the fruit has no other container to enter, except yourself.

I especially like how you point out Caesar seemed to make sure there were apples, as well as the existence of the encyclopedia. How have you not figured out that Blackbeard just absorbed whitebeards body witch gave him his devilfruit power. That makes the most sense to me and I always think of it when you talk about it. It also makes it more understandable how he can use 2 fruits because he's technically not using it himself but via whitebeards body that he absorbed

"Nearest" no information we've been given except the apple supports this. Even the canonical explanation said they show up "somewhere" in the world. It might me more likely that it ends up a random corresponding fruit and it just so happens that apple was chosen.

There was a hole in white beards chest when he died,I think black beard eat his beating heart and acquired the ability and to protect this secret technique he used a cloth to cover him and white beards body. May be heart is the secret for his second devil fruit power🤔😅.And thats what happened when bigmam eat mother caramel, because she eat the whole body. Your theory can possibly explain how Black Beard got a hold of White Beards power. But one thing is still unexplained, how did Black Beard manage to obtain the power of a second Devil Fruit without dying? It is confirmed that the human body would burst if anyone attempted to do this. You should make a video about that if you haven't already.

This video brings up many questions regarding devil fruits (DF). For example:
• what criteria do the DF consider for a person to be dead before it shifts? Is it the loss of your soul or something else?
>Look at Brook's yomi yomi no mi... he died once and his soul left the body. But he still has all the weakness of a DF user. Is he considered "alive" by the DF even though his body is non-living. In this case does he still have his DF or since he already died is there another yomi yomi no mi out there?
•Also I have a crazy theory that Blackbeard's DF has the ability to absorb out another users' DF just before death or upon death.. so he's able to draw out the DF powers from his victims then imbue it on himself or gift the power to another of his comrades.
• Another crazy theory is that the yami yami no mi may have something to do with how DF came into existence, which was once mentioned that DF are creations of the "sea devil".The yami yami no mi could've been a powerful precursor DF used by said "devil", which could explain how Blackbeard is able to use multiple DF powers

I love the video, but with big mom, instead of gaining the Soru Soru no mi powers from eating mother caramel, she instead just ate her and didn’t gain the powers of the fruit, but in her rampage, she ate the reincarnation of the fruit which had transferred to a similar fruit inside the orphanage or at the banquet. Both are possible, but considering the other two occasions we see of devil fruit reincarnation (at Marineford and Punk Hazard) I believe that it’s the more plausible sequence of events. But if it’s possible to eat a human to gain a fruits power, that’s pretty insane
