- In this video, we go over every Saiyan from Dragon Ball / Z / Super and rank them from weakest to strongest. Just who is the strongest Saiyan? Is Vegito stronger than Gogeta? Is Ultra Instinct Goku stronger than Broly?

the fact that it can even be argued that SS2 Kefla is above SSB Vegito just shows exactly what is wrong with Super’s scaling
Well Shin has always been an unreliable narrator even back in the Buu Saga (especially so actually). Also while Kale did tank SSB, is a sense Krillin defended against it too...Krillin is not blue level and the show never puts him on that level, that was just a confidence booster. Also early ToP Goku (who struggled with Kale) Black's Rose was always ahead of SSB in each encounter. I think two of the major cases for Kefla's strength are a bit unreliable (but can be used if you really want, it's worthy of note but not good enough for me). That said the spirit bomb stomps Black, and Kefla stomps Black. Compared to the arc's fusions though I honestly don't think there is a comparison. I think SSJ2 Kefla should struggle to be on Merged Zamasu's level, and we shouldn't be considering SSB Vegito.
I think you meant Broly lol especially since his power level was from the Saiyan Sage but he jumps up to fighting Gogeta Blue lol.
A lot of saiyans in the tournament of power is stronger then Vegito Blue and that’s coming from a Vegito fan but obviously if Goku and vegeta fused into vegito in the Broly movie he would be equal to Gogeta
Σscape it was the opposite way round (elder kai said potaras stronger then fusion dance) but I’m pretty sure it’s because of the rival boost (so if Goku fused with someone who isn’t his rival but is the same power as vegeta the fusion would be weaker then vegito)

Broly has no limitations when in Berserk mode, his first real fight is with two saiyan gods with 40+ years of experience and literally bodied them to make them fuse

Kgnightcry to me it was understandable, but the reason that was the case because Seth had 2 potential scale lines for characters such as vegito blue and M zamasu who changed the list depending on where they was at. So he told us where vegeta was if you argue him above zamasu or if you argue zamasu on par with beerus and where he would br
Broly in all his appearances felt like a raw diamond that was never cut into shape by proper training. I imagine him surpassing everybody if he had the opportunities that Goku and Vegeta had.

I think higher classes are earned through service, not necessarily power level. Kinda like being knighted. Bardock being a rebel likely wouldn’t get any acknowledgement from king vegeta. But Raditz spending the majority of his life helping prince vegeta (presumably bullying the other saiyan youths on the playground before being sent off to conquer) would likely get promoted for being the prince’s “friend” and being competent and powerful

I remember reading somewhere that Raditz power level was so beneath Nappa and Vegeta’s because Raditz was quite a coward, eg begging for his life twice with goku.
He avoided the situations that would take him near death, subsequently he didn’t see any of that saiyan power boost they get from almost losing.
Vegeta on the other hand was quite the natural talent and pushed hard as a child.
Nappa despite being a bit of a prick was also willing to put himself in danger.
The begging for his life thing was a trick.
Meanwhile in DB Heroes, power scaling goes right out the window when everyone in their base form is stronger than Kaio Ken SSJB Goku.

You know what's funny though? At power level 920 Tarble is still stronger than everyone in the original Dragonball series to the point that he could have taken Goku, his crew, and Piccolo at the same time and win. And remember, King Piccolo at power level 200 was strong enough to take on the combined militaries of Earth and not even break a sweat. THAT is how overpowered the Saiyans are - even their weakest bitches can flatten a planet with ease.

The saiyan race just looks weak when compared to their very best, that being Goku, Vegeta, and Broly. The hybrids are a completely different story as they’ve shown time and again that their innate battle power and potential far surpasses a full blooded saiyan with exception to Broly

Broly has raw power without any real training and they had to fuse to beat him. So imagine if Broly had real training like Vegeta and Goku did
The good thing about the current movies compared to the old ones is that they are current and incorperated into the Storyline of the Manga/Show, so I think we might see Broly again. I could see him possibly showing up when a new tournament of power starts, considering that we know that the first one included the weakest universes. I don't think that Toriyama would hint at several universes even stronger than everything seen at the tournament without showing them to us.

@@user-dc4yr2ev5h Depends on which Goku you mean. When it comes to Super Saiyan Blue Goku, absolutely. He was already evenly matched with him in his Rage Form, which due to being the Oozaru power we know its just a multiplyer by 10 while absolutely dominating in his Super Saiyan Form. If we talk about Ultra Instinct Goku, no way. He would absolutely be defeated by him. I also think that at this point he is probably also much weaker still than Jiren. Though at least if we can trust Gokus Assessment, he might be stronger than Beerus in his Complete Super Saiyan Form.
But then again, Broly is all pure talent, instinct and strength, no technique or control. Its even crazy how you can see it in the movie very well, Vegeta and Goku are clearly utilizing martial arts while Broly just throws punches. Even just learning basic martial arts probably would increase Brolys power by alot, because it would teach him how to use his power efficently. Though I don't think he will be trained by Whis, at least not immediately. His first trainer will be Goku himself and I think after the Galactic Patrol Prisoner Arc, he is in the perfect place to properly teach Broly, because now he learned more about Justice, which I think is something Broly needs to learn as well.
I also don't think that Broly will ever learn Super Saiyan God nor Ultra-Instinct. I think both would be antithetical to his concept as THE legendary Super Saiyan. What I could see if Broly gets a permanent place in the series is, that he could be also utilized to make Super Saiyan 4 Canon. He re-introduced the Oozaru and the idea of utilizing the Oozaru in a human form after all. So his personal transformation being the Super Saiyan 4 form would be very fitting, him mastering the legendary Super Saiyan Form and then also learning to control his Oozari powers. Interestingly even, Broly in his Wrath State has yellow eyes, similar to Goku as SSJ4, so maybe this was done purposefully. Though I think if Broly is used to introduce SSJ4 into Super, I could see it done with the slight design change of making his fur green instead of red to fit his overall color scheme.
Just as well, imagine if Karoly existed in Dragon Ball Super. Fusion fans might recognize Karoly as the fusion between Kakarot and Broly, but Goku only was able to fuse by force since Broly lives for Goku. But since Broly is otherwise friendly with Goku in the current continuity, the fusion would be much more well-intended. He'd pretty much be the Universe 7 version of Kefla, and of course he would be unstoppable to near anyone except Zen-Oh
that is the reason he isnt shown as much and will never be shown a lot because of the dbs super movie of broly THAT MOVIE RUINED BROLY FOR ONE MAIN REASON. as you have stated he has sheer BOWER enough to beat (post top goku and vegeta) but since they buffed him up so much he has the potential to beat beerus and everyother god of destruction in like 10-20 years because he “learns as he fights”

Personally I think that Broly is the strongest Saiyan because of the fact that he was born with such a high power (I believe it was a power level of 10,000) and with him not even having any sort of training and being able to have a fair fight with Gogeta, who both have had numerous amounts of training. My opinion is that Broly is the strongest.

The only time Goku overpowered Jiren was the last bit.

My personal theory is that Goku and Vegeta just had the perfect circumstances to grow that strong, while the ones before them didn't.
Think about it. A Saiyan who recovers from near death gets a massive power boost, right? That's awesome and all, except that if you do not have a healing pod of a Senzu Bean nearby, you're just gonna end up crippled or die from your injuries anyway. As such, primitive Saiyans could only grow stronger slowly as they fought.
As for the likes or Raditz and Nappa, for example, they weren't sent on missions against very dangerous opponents, and I think it was deliberate on Freeza's part.
Thats exactly why frieza destroyed them, if they are alive like vegeta and goku, frieza would be killed much sooner

Vegeta isn't the strongest (much to our frustration) Sayain but he's definitely the embodiment of them and my favorite.

When it comes to kefla vs vegito blue, another thing to keep in mind is that vegito de-fused against zamasu because he was literally too strong for the earings. (He wasn't even full power by the way) Kefla never had this problem and she clearly went all out against UI Goku. So in terms of power alone, vegito is way above kefla
dont the portara have a time limit of 1 hour for non gods? Kefla defused way before that timelimit although this could be argued that UI broke the earrings (which is weird since if thats all it too to defuse then someone like vegito would be a lot less threatening) or the Grand priest forced kefla to defuse once she was knocked out

They do have a time limit but Trunks was surprised why they defused since it hadn't been an hour yet and that's when the supreme Kai explained them overloading the earings. I always assumed that kefla's earings broke because they were something that was put on after the tournament began and the zeno only transported the fighters that started the tournament. Like anilaza, they didn't stay fused when they were eliminated because they didn't enter the tournament fused. I hope that made sense

Honestly, its so hard to actually measure the strength of characters in this show. Power levels were helpful for probably 1 second before it became obvious they were broken. I just wish that toriyama made a list himself, but some people dumb enough to still disagree and debate.
