Thanks so much for watching! I hope you found this video on how to get your book into bookstores helpful. I can't wait to see your beautiful children's book on my bookstore's shelves!
I absolutely love watching your UA-cam channel! With every video, I learn something new. Your words of encouragement to "believe in yourself, believe in your beautiful book" really resonated with me. Thank you for sharing your passion for children's literature and for inspiring others to follow their dreams.
Thank you! This IS really helpful! I am working on a boys ⚽ soccer game book and want to hang out at the local soccer fields, get to know some of the parents and share my book, see if they like it. Hoping to publish in the next few months on KDP. My niece also does craft shows where she lives, so i want to give her some copies to sell. Will be intriguing to see what interest they generate.
Thank you, Eevie! I just discovered your channel and have already subscribed and been "binge-watching"! Tip #9 was especially inspiring, thought, being new to publishing, all were honestly valuable. I'm so glad I found you and will be passing your channel along to others! Blessings to your work!
I have been binging on your videos while on a long car trip. So many good things you share! Thanks so much. I love too number 9 here, and will be looking into places locally my book can be sold. I also love the one sheet video… well, all of them so far! Thank you so much for sharing your experience and knowledge!
Montana is a rural state with many specialty shops ideal for the awesome tips you offered. Thanks for broadening my perspective, again! Appreciate all you do!
I never considered taking my book to the SF zoo gift store where they have penguins that I write about in my fictional children’s book. Thank you, Victoria
Would you recommend ordering author copies from Amazon kdp and then reach out to local Barnes and nobles? What happens with the ISBN number in that case?
Hi @Loud_Thinker! How are you? It's so wonderful to meet you! We could either use our author copies from Amazon, or also upload our books onto IngramSpark, so that bookstores can order the books directly from there as well. Here, it's important that we have used our OWN, purchased ISBNs, and not the free ones offered on Amazon. That way, we can ensure that our ISBNs will work anywhere. To learn more about ISBNs or expanded distribution, I have created separate videos on just that. I so hope this helps!
