Project Zomboid West Point Guide: The Most Difficult Spawn Location

- In this short guide, I share several compelling reasons why you should try West Point for your next Project Zomboid playthrough and why it is the most difficult spawn location. Discover why this town deserves more attention and how it can enhance your Project Zomboid experience.
There's a train wagon next to auto repair shop. It requires work, but changing that wagon into a nice base has been the most fun I've had in a singleplayer run so far.
I would love to see some screenshots of it!
This was my base for the better part of an in game year. I loved it more than anything. Game bugged and I lost all my progress. Build 42 will bring me back
Honestly well made and to the point guide you have here (Nice editing too) surprised this doesn’t have more views than it does!
appreciate kind words, algorithm doesnt like small, new creators like me
I spawn west point. Walk faster than the zombies can run, outplayed. Hit twiggy's bar and make a molotov cocktail. The haters are seething. Make three water bottles and burn down the gun store wall. The zombies are exhausted and bowing to my utter wit. Grab the guns inside and start blasting. I had them from pitch one.
If you go to the far, far left of the West Point, there is a lake. That is my favorite spot on the map to make a permanent base. Specifically, the house with the dock.
Definitely need a car, and supplies before going out there, but I like it.
Just checked it out. Place looks awesome 👌 Plenty of space and not much work required to secure, plus is so far out there will be not many zeds in the area. Gotta try it out
Control Westpoint and you have a good respawn point for a Louisville campaign.
Imagine respawning
@@beaub152 You secure the Westpoint Rail-road bridge, the bridge east of the drag-race track, the bridge east of the town near the Ruby gas station (the one with the gun range). Then a LOOONG wall from the start of the river and going north to the Military checkpoint, secure the checkpoint and anytime you need to respawn you have a clear road back to Louisville. If you want to reclaim the city this is the only way, I know because I am currently doing it for the second time thanks to the RV Nomad Mod!
Great series, quick and very informative 👏
Appreciate it King!
I actually found West Point harder to start in than even Louisville, there's just something about it that's really challenging for day 1. Really cool town though!
I think it's all down to loot and amount of zombies. Louisville is hard but packed with good stuff which can be found everywhere.
South bridge near the Westpoint is the most ideal but not too isolated to build your own home, right next to infinite water source and fishing, foraging is easy and surrounded by trees, even in 16x zombie population, its still relatively peaceful, and if you want a challenge (if the westpoint town itself isnt) the Mall is few miles away from that said bridge and its somewhat safer route due to lack of houses on this route.
Seems like it needs loads of work, cars dismantling building from scratch, shifting all those materials but I bet final result would be amazing! I would like to see some screenshots of base there 👀
The storage units will have more than 2 weakpoints in update 42, but otherwise I agree. The farmhouse has been my favourite for many years, but I think I'll try out the workshop you mentioned next time I play.
One more thing I'd add is that players who'd like to build a base from scratch can utilize the river.
Oh yeah B42 will be a game changer, players will have to adjust a lot to new mechanics. Great point for river base location!
"Why should you start in west point" - 🧟
Twiggy Bar is the best spot for base building
Well made video i didn't expect it to be that new
West-Point = Best-Point
You missed another gas's station
Thank you, probably i didn't miss only that. Aim of this video/series is to keep it "short and sweet" yet to highlight main points. Maybe I should create video one day that will go into deepest details 🤓🤔
West point bridge can also be a nice base of you get enough propane to dismantle all the cars, no respawns, almost no zombies and it's close to valley station and west point downtown
What about the 3 mansions on the north west?
Good point. Suggested few, may cover it in separate video. Thank you
@@Vanillating Great that will be 10 buck jk
@@skycopper1336 I will praise you in one of the videos 🤓😂
@@Vanillating hahah!
thx
its easy everywhere
