38:48 The name of the drift event in NFS Unbound was actually a reference and named after the song in 2 Fast 2 Furious performed by Ludacris (who portrayed Tej Parker in Fast & Furious movie series)
As a person who drifts in all kinds of different racing games, this deserves my respect, especially on the games with wacky drift physics. Well done 👍 My personal favorite games to drift in due to the intensity: Ridge Racer series, NFS Carbon, Race Driver Grid, and the DiRT series. My hated games to drift in due to it's messed up physics: NFS Shift series, The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, and NFS 2015.
Funny thing about Unbound is that drifting, with some practice, can be really fun but that's not how you beat the maximum scores in drift events. For that you need to weave left and right like a drunken monkey.
@@theraiden9631 You made the assumption that I forgot those games but there was no reason for you to assume that. It's a totally random and baseless assumption.
@@Paragleiber I made that assumption because I don’t see you made that video before or maybe you just forgot it. When you said my assumption is baseless, that confuse me. Made me think you reject my assumption.
My honest tier list (it's mine, Deal with it) - BEST: Grid Series (they took the technical aspect of the discipline and make it arcade-y) - Ghost Games Nfs series (very arcade, cars handles like Burnout Series) - Juiced 2 (Cars drift like crazy) - NFS Carbon/Nfs Pro street (the gimmicks [Wall proximity and Unreal tournament like point system] makes the drift amazing) - The Crew Series and Underground Series (does it work properly but nothing memorable) - MID: Nfs Unbound (very unremarkable) - Shift 1 (mid) - Forza Series and Gran Turismo series (very technical, nothing exciting) - Shift 2 (lol can you make it even shorter?) - Driveclub (a boring version of Gran Turismo drift mode) - SHIT: Assetto Corsa (what the fuck is this piece of shit?)
I am literally showing one of the drift special events that are part of the base game, so the devs themselves selected this car for drifting and I think it drifts pretty well. I also don't play with keyboard, so your comment is very misleading. Don't make random assumptions like that in the future.
@@Paragleiber if you play on controller it was not noticible, my bad for this one, but majority of the community dont do what the devs created, still far from what the game really have to offer, sorry if my comment was misleading, wasnt trying to say anything bad, i like your video and asseto, but asseto is so much more with the mod possibility
NFS Pro Street Supra's sound is so good
Drifting in NFS Carbon was so satisfying
yeahh, especially on canyon
So true

Man these are so well made, really nice seeing how they've changed over the years

Hey, damn! Your drifting skills in those racing games? Absolutely killer, bro!

Shift 2 was actually pretty fun to drift once you got used to the physics.

21:50 nice game mechanics xD
Grid 1 drifting is still the best one for me, man they f'ed the drift so bad after Grid 1 for some reason :(
Just miss pro street drifting scene, it was so gooddd in the era
Underground was hard for me
No one does it like Horizon when it comes to open world drifting
I agree but try Asseto Corsa with a simulator and you'll soon be drifting the car irl😅
100K subs!
Pro street is the best.
You forgot the original drift game from Japan, like Kaido Battle and the OG D1 Professional Drift Series.
You are wrong. I didn't forget them. And there was no reason for you to assume that.
@@Paragleiber what do you mean no reason?

Seeing GT5 between all those arcade racing games feels so weird. GT5's drifting looks so... british, lol.

Carx?
What about it?
Try again with a " joystick " 🤭👍🤣. It's the real man .
I don't understand your comment. I think your English is not very good.
you didn't do justice for asseto corsa :/ drifting an non drift-build with keyboard, didn't show the full potential of the game
