You are the man. I worked on finding a wire, finding schematics, and jumping up and down for around 3 hours now. Thanks for the information video, it helped greatly.
I have a 2006 impala lt and all I did was tap into that airbag wire that's dangling above your radio... LOL. Works great. On and off when I start and turn off car. I don't sit in the car with keys on anyways. Either too cold or too hot where I live. Screw it. I touched the acc wire to each of them airbag sensor wires till my radio lit up. I belive its the pink wire. Perhaps this helps somone. I have not gotten any errors. I plugged it back in and added my radio trim as well. Wondering why nobody else thought of this. Didn't even need extra wires. Lol.
How come nobody thought to tap into the pink wire thats located in the harness for passenger air bag light thats literally hanging above the radio? Am I messing up by using this? Cuz I plugged it back into the trim and everything. My radios red acc wire is piggy backing off that pink wire now with ZERO issues for about 2.5 weeks now. Am I making a grave mistake or somthing or did the solution need to be harder? Maybe everyone's over thinking it. ? Lololol. Help
I did have to replace the wiring to the speakers as the wiring through the car was kinda garbage from factory and would only do one door or another when taking turns.
My son's 07 is driving me nuts we had best buy install a radio and took it back 5 times before I told them to remove it and opened my big mouth. So after looking for ever I found a wire in the steering column and tried that worked great till he shut the head lights off which turns off the radio I've tried almost everything I could find there seems to be very little out there about this issue
Any update on this? My battery died two days later. I jumped it, then it died again a week later. I need to buy a new battery tomorrow. I don’t think they are related. There is no power when the key is off, so it can’t be draining the battery. But, the coincidence is suspicious.
Have a quick question my 08 impala ss aftermarket radio cuts off an on mean while I changed the last double din out cause of the same thing that’s happening now it plays sound an all just cuts out an restarts it’s self repeatedly ?
Can you please explain where you connected the yellow and red wires too? My 07 Impala wires are all sliced from previous owners. I'm putting in a aftermarket stereo and there's no yellow wires in my wiring harness to car.
U have to write down all your wire colors coming out of ur dash to ur radio then go to the junk yard in find around the same make , yr & model and cut that harness out of the dash back as far as you can so u have wiggle room if you mess up then after that's all hooked up connect your aftermarket stereo wire harness to the aftermarket wire harness that plugs into the main wire harness and then follow my video and bam ur all done...thats the best way to do it the wright way

I found two red wires with 7.5 amp inline fuses already on my 2009 torrent PW relay (base sound system) Wondering if I should still use it.

How you connect the wire to the fuse and was able to put it back in?
@@thefadegenius you strip the wire and wrap it around just one prong on the fuse
Or just lay it across the connector and push in

First of thanks for the tip got radio to turn on & work but I'm not getting any sound
You need to check your speaker hook up and also test your speakers to make sure everything is connected

Just pulled it out and layer the wire across the connector and shoved it back in

i did this in my impala it worked good but its still killing my car battery some how after a day or 2 of not starting??? any suggestions?

Do you have auto lights? Mine did and would turn off and on depending on if my headlights were on or off lol. So weird.
Did you have power to the radio before you ran the auxiliary wire to the relay ?

So did you cut and splice the rest or did you get a harness of some sort
I got a harness to hook the radio up but I just ran a wire over from radio to fuse
It was a pain, I tried every fuse too. Did you need to bypass the factory amp for sound? I'm having trouble with that
