yes, even waterspot remover with ph of 1 - 3 is safe as long as u follow the instructions. u need to be in ph 1 - 3 range to be effective, i know carpro and gyeon are not in this range, they are too concern of their coatings than customer's waterspot. just my humble opinion.
Im conflicted, a soap thats safe for ceramic coatings should be PH neutral (Ph7), however it says right on the bottle it is Ph 1. is it safe for ceramic coatings or no?
So once diluted this should come out to a ph of 3. I’m not sure you understand what this product is or does. If not it’s a producer that is considered an acid wash, it removes hard water spots but also cleanses a ceramic coating to bring back the hydrophobic properties that may have been lost due to not maintaining the coating appropriately. To answer your question yes it’s safe but don’t let it dry on the surface.
@@joerossi4231 for Gyeon ceramic coatings it's not safe. It may remove the water spots, but kills the hydrofobity :) killed the 3week old cancoat. Read about somebody getting killed a Syncro too. So maybe it's optimized only for Koch's ceramic coatings.
@@RayNLA your not wrong. Anything that has an acid in it will cleanse the surface or at least should. It’s removing a lot of junk on the surface. Therefore cleansing the coating. I use both ends of the spectrum to do that being I used acid and alkaline.
end dilution also means pir, that usually means u need to multiply by 10. so if u r adding 50ml rs to 500ml of water in ur foam lance bottle, then end dilution will be 1:100, not 1:10, which is what kcx recommends in this video.
Is it safe also on uncoated cars to remove water spots?
