I'm with you on that brother, growing up in the 70s was incredible . Life was better nobody had alot of money but we were happy. People had morals and there was community spirit. If you got caught playing up you got a clip round the ear then you'd get another on from your dad for doing it. And the world was a much safer place
All having a good time now, re United for another bus ride together. Mr Varney, Mr Grant, Mr Robbins, Mr Lewis, Miss Hare and we lost Miss Karen last month, such a sad loss. I watched all the films and series also growing up in the 70s we were innocent and it was better times nothing like what times we are living in now. We didn't have much but we were happy kids back then. Glen from Alexandria Scotland. 🏴. God bless you all. 🙏🏻🏴🚍
Fun fact. The bus garage was on the backlot at elstree film. It was demolished and years later the big brother set stood in the same place as well as some au wiedersain sets
Just visited Pontins today. The place is STILL the same. Its gone down the nick bigtime however and the clientele leaves a lot to be desired. Spot the plaque on the gatepost
Wow! Wonderful footage of Happier Days gone by. RIP Anna, the last of the series cast to pass. God bless.
