- Hear the crowd go wild when they see the laser beam image of Keef.
Firestarter live, including D and B remix, with rave intro.
Brighton 20th November 2023
The best set ever!
A 50 yr old man should not have a tear in his eye watching this.
Thanks so much for sharing.
45 and I burst watchin that. Miss him so much.
same 👍👌
I was holding it back a bit. Damn
38, crying
I was there. I also cried at this part. Gd to know it wasnt only me ❤
Perfect tribute by Prodigy. Not sappy. Not exploitative. Not overdone. Just perfect.
My words exactly. Better than creepy holograms.
Yeah, perfect. When Peter Steele died, Type O Negative disbanded, when Joe Strummer died, the Clash cancelled their reunion plans, then when Keith Flint dies, the Prodigy go on a Worldwide tour...
@@TheboxingobserverFlint wasn’t the composer. He was hardly the lead singer either. I don’t even want to engage with this point - it feels distasteful.
This has made me smile. 2023 and people are still appreciating The Prodigy. I still listen to them now and again. Brings back some great memories. 🤟
People still love them bcoz they are original in every way and pathed the way and still are. 🤘🏻😁🤘🏻
Hardcore will never die.
Hardly surprising! Most of the people that listened to them are still alive
Now and again? Every day more like!
They were my go-to when I was 13 and off my face on acid trips.
I grew out of that, but not the Prodigy ^^
The Firestarter will never really die as long as we remember him. RIP Keith..
and wipeout 2097
I'm 54 and I've followed The Prodigy from the start until present.
Keith Flint was a Living Legend while he was of this Earth, now he's a Pure Legend. He Never wanted to get old! Rest easy fella!
Me too. I was 11 when I bought experience. Still listen to all the albums ❤
He was too rare for this earth ❤
@@Ultrasonic94Ghaha same as mate, first ever album I bought 🎉
The Prodigy was the only non-metal band back in the 90s that I, as a teenager, was proud to listen to. 30 years later I still think they're amazing and are one of those rare dance bands that have been respected amongst even the most closed minded metalheads.
Totally had a place at many a metal festival line up and the crowd loved it.
Absolutely agree, I discovered them around 10 years old not long before Firestarter came to my attention, saw them 2002 at Leeds Festival. I was pretty much into metal by this point, a few weeks before I turned 18, was absolutely not going to miss The Prodigy and was in the pit for that set. One of the best sets of the weekend, almost a transcendental experience from start to finish.
Me too, exactly the same for me!
Only because "Pop will Eat itself" did guitars on Poison. Even then the metal guys only started to listen after Fat of the Land.No metaller liked Prodigy during Experience I can tell you that. I was 17 when it was released and the year before Napalm Death released Harmony Corruption and Godflesh released Street Cleaner. Then Nevermind came out and metal became cool. (yes Grunge) No one in that sphere it seems was into them, except for me. I always liked breakbeat music as well as blastbeats.
I saw them at reading and was just thinking about how the mosh pit turned into a rave!
The 90s were a beautiful decade. A smiling face and a thumping base for a happy race. 🎶 😊
Yes bro!! 👌🏻
Apart from the IRA
@@greg0uk lol i see another fellow northern irish man. It's often said that the 90's N.I rave scene helped bridge the gaps between the 2 hostile communities, through raves in Kelly's etc in '94 (and of course, i've heard white doves, snowballs, microdots and strawbs helped rinse out those nasty hate-filled junk 'about the other side' put into these kids heads of wanting to hurt anyone cuz of where ya lived etc by having them dancing together and understand - these people are just like us, why are we fighting?)
Word 🤙
Beautifully said 🎉❤ I have very fond memories of those days 😊
I won’t lie, the light show was spectacular but the sentiment was beautiful. That’s got me properly choked up. Was at a friends funeral a year ago, right at the end they played some audio I’d never heard before of him singing, playing guitar and laughing one last time… it’s put me back there. Thank you for sharing.
Man i got chills as soon as his silhouette started dancing. He was truly 1 of a kind. RIP brother raving in paradise 🤘😆🤘
Goosebumps!!!! Keith lives in the spirit of rave
Keith IS the spirit of rave! 🤘😝🤘
I was there. I cried at fire starter too. Never thought id be crying at firestarter . This probably was the best part of the gig. Thnx for the upload
Oh, what memories. Speed, bottles of water, and my feet for dancing. What a great time I had. 😊 love and peace to all listening to this.
❤
Class😂✌️
gotta love the dove's and mitsies ;-)
Gone but never forgotten. Absolute legend. RIP KEITH ❤ love this!
What an excellent tribute! The Prodigy never cease to amaze. RIP Keith he really knew how to set the place on 'fire'.
Saw them last night in Birmingham - place went nuts when you saw Keith's silhouette. Gone but not forgotten.
@PhilJohn1i980 I was there at the back I'm nearly 60 bit it was great no other word for it but great
@@anuvabastidanakist2437 last time I saw them was on the Fat of the Land tour, 1997 at Forest National in Brussels ... I was 17, still just as insane and full of energy (both them and me!). Glad you enjoyed it!
Good friends of mine, didn't know Liam Howlett, different school to us,that well, went to school with Keith and Leroy, although a year younger than me,only met Keith Palmer a few times (he was from Peterborough) and not part of the Braintree posse, helped design the logo, haha got paid a woolly hat with XL recordings on it, gave my younger brother signed 12" records, liam signed it the music man, use to go round their lodgings, Keith use to live in an attic from the people he was renting from, long before he bought the barn he passed away in,Liam’s first car with his first cheque was a Astra mk1 gte,he loved that car, then on to a dodge viper, then the Mclaren when it started to roll in, went to all of their early gigs obviously use to see Liam DJ at the Braintree barn before he made it,Keith and Leroy were his dancers,Liam couldn't believe his luck when eastenders used about 10sec of “charly says” on it and got his first loyalty cheque for 10 grand, he knew they had made it,guest lists yep we was on it, mini buses yep we was in them, not so keen on their new stuff to be honest and no disrespect to The Prodigy but they are not the same without Keith,RIP Mr.Flint,we miss you brother
Sorry lads rambling on a bit
❤
The prodigy are one of the only groups you see live where you realy do feel you got more than your moneys worth
Nowadays, you're right.
'93? Not so much.
@@bigpauliep6992 I don't know, I saw them in '94 and they were incredible, and the ticket price? £7... which included sets by Baby D, the Chemical Brothers and Portishead!
When I saw them there was a fight on stage... after someone got on stage and shoved Liam (Tribal Gathering 95).
Not sure that was me getting more than my moneys worth though but I guess it did make it memorable ;o)
@@corleth2868 Those were the days... 😉
The days when musicians were put in danger by fans more often? Not sure why you're nostalgic for that specifically. @@rosstee
So glad this was recommended to me, a beautiful tribute. I saw them at Brixton about 15 years ago, and Keith came through my row and jumped on my foot. Everyone was so in the moment that you just didn't care. One broken toe later and one mad, amazing night that I'll remember and treasure forever. RIP Keith.
Was that the one they released on DVD ?? I have an old DVD live in Brixton, they came out to ‘smack my bitch up’ when the beat kicked in, that crowd man! Crazy scenes! 💥
Legends never die.
Straight facts. Absolute stalwart of the industry and the genre
NOTHING beats the Prodigy live.
I’m by no means a Prodigy fan, yet I can’t remember the last time I got goosebumps like this haha
Being an old man of 44 I was lucky enough to see The Prodigy 3 times..i also remember seeing some band called the foo fighters come on stage before the prodigy.. Your gone but never forgotten brother. Hope your in a happier place now 🐜
You're as old as you feel young man.
44 hardly old.
@@malcolmmitchell6529 People are literally brainwashed to think they're older than they are. INSANE. At 54 I was doing 11 min plank.
This was an emotional moment! Saw them at Ali Pali. One of the best, most bangin gig I’ve ever been to. When Keith was resurrected in the lazers the entire place went bananas! Incredible
I have not heard Ali Pali for years, correct me if wrong, slang for Hammersmith Palais?!

Great tribute to Keith.
But what really makes me sad, is all the phones.
Just enjoy it now.....
@amcj10 I noticed the phones my X who was with me took pic n video I just enjoyed it
Yip with most filming for pussbook and instasham likes, not real ravers.
Liam's next tune 'No phones allowed' 'You get da fuck out'
Raves ain't what they used to be. Pity.
Breathtaking to see prodigy are still as big as they have ever been and their music will be loved by generations to come 😊
Obviously nowhere near as big as they were but yes they live on
Been lucky enough to see Prodigy four times. Last time was Leeds on the No Tourists album tour. This is an amazing tribute. RIP Keith.
What an amazing tribute to a now a literal icon of Dance Music.
That's just beautiful. Thousands of fans felt the loss, but like this we get our remembrance the way it was meant to. No truths, no lies, no words. Just a moment for the one we lost.
BIG UP FROM MOSCOW'S BREAKERS, RESPECT TO 1997 ON RED SQUARE
This was ace to watch, bet it was amazing being there! I still listen to them now and again, I was only young when they came out but I love their music, proper tuuuunes!! 🙌🙌
Keith was a legend! I met him when I was about 10 and recognised him from a newspaper article.
We were both out shopping with our mums 😂
He took the time to stop and chat with me and was a genuinely pleasant, friendly guy to me...just some starstruck kid.
That guy standing in the foreground didn't move an inch! epic musical statues gameplay!
Best night of live music i've ever had the fortune to see was The Prodigy @ Sheffield Plug in 2008. It was absolutely mind-blowing being in a club with such a small capacity and the crowd was completely mental!
Just introduced my 8yo son to some of the less sweary tracks!
Great band and pioneer of early dance music 👍🏻. A great testament to Keith and the prodigy never forget 👌🏻🙏Keep blasting them tunes !
Fire starter gives me the same chills like back in 90's :)
Thank you for sharing. It's great to have been there. ❤
Superb!
What Keith and the Prodigy did for dance/electronic music over the decades shaped the entire scene. Always delivered cutting edge tracks. RIP Keith, gone but never forgotten.
What do you mean gone ? 😕 what happened 😳
@@QIKUGAMES-QIKUhe took his own life
That sent a legit shiver up my spine. And a real tear to my eye. Never forget you keef. ❤
I always loved The Prodigy, was gutted when Keith died. These days I'm 49 and have two kids, 17 and 11, they both always tell me to leave on and turn up Firestarter, Breathe, Smack ma Bitch up and Charly when they come on in the car. Always happy to oblige, good kids.
OMG! How amazing is that!!! Keef immortalised in his music for the generations. A legend lives on forever.
You cant truly enjoy these gigs with a phone in your hand.
The Prodigy live were unrivalled. Greatest live performance ive ever been to 'V-Fest 2010'.
Lasers and smoke are two of the best things to ever grace live shows
Incredible! They couldn't have done anything more perfect.
just for that split second i thought nah he aint dead!! then reality kicks in as the beat stops!! its a numbing feeling losing someone who was in yer bedroom and in yer car with you for nearly 30 years!!! RIP KEEF!
Lifelong fan of the Prodigy ever since I first heard Charley as a teenager in 1991.
I still get the same feelings today listening to this as I did back in the day. MAGICAL
Man that made me cry ❤
44 now and i am lucky enough to see them at serbia exit fest, Glastonbury 40th anniversary and knebworth. My top 3 bands and seen them all, but prodigy was the most special live, especially 2007 exit fest. Hi to holly if she reads this its luke.
RIP, one of my favourite bands, followed them since Charly, that’s an amazing light show. A great band always innovating with their sound.
Thank you for sharing this ❤
We miss you Keef
What an awesome set! Brilliant. Thanks for uploading!
Awesome of you to share brings back memories.
WOW! Had Goosebumps all through that! Amazing Awesome! What more can I say. I want to experience this myself live! God bless Keith he was a lovely man!❤
Thanks for sharing, this is amazing.
I’m crying 🙌
Thank you for sharing.
Thats such a fantastic, classy and fitting tribute to Keith
Keith was one of THE nicest people I have ever met in my 65 years…..we shared a cup of tea and chatted motorbikes for ages. He sat on mine and played with it a bit, before getting off, looking at it and saying, “sweet bike man..”
Excellent mix, thx for sharing!
Nice to see a concert in 2023 with so few people on their phones.
This gave me chills seeing the laser show
Keith is missed so much and I can't believe it makes me tear up a little
Absolute legend
And for the rest of the guys to keep smashing it and also paying tribute to Keith blows my mind
The prodigy are legendary

Goosebumps.
We all miss you Keith. Catch you at the big one
I'm not a dance music sort of person (too much arthritis) but I would love to have been there for this.
Keith was a lovely human Being.
Man, these guys still rock the frikkin roof off any place. Lovin it 😍😍
Wow...very touching, brought back alot of great memories from my youth😢
That was awesome !! Goose bumps and everything. That’s whole show looked incredible 😱🤯👍
`90 was without limits and max creativity.

Amazing. Seen them last Friday 17th in Manchester 😁👍👍
I saw them live in Brighton years ago absolutely amazing to see I’ve been a prodigy fan for years
Phenomenal tribute. Love the respect.
Im so happy I got to see the prodigy before he passed, would still go see them now too, legends!
Same
The start of this is absolutely banging ! If only I could get this as a track to listen to ! Would be amazing! Prodigy are class to be fair ! ❤
This gave me shivers and brought a tear to my eye! Love this so much ❤️
Really good of that bloke on the left to fire these lasers out of his eyes for Keef like that
Firestarter is just one of those songs that comes on and you cant help but skank out!
RIP Keith you absolute legend!!!
NOW THAT IS A TRIBUTE! Keef, we love you .
Wicked, wish I was there, but you brought it here, Thanks
Man this is fire. Love the prodigy 🩷
I absolutely love how they left this part without vocals to pay the silent tribute to him, it’s just priceless..
🔥 seen these guys twice. Still kicking ass. Sick party❤
Legend has it the man standing to the left is still standing there todays and legend has it he will be there for years to come.
Saw them in Birmingham, the whole show was amazing but I had to record this as it was an awesome tribute to a legend.
Thank you Keith, thank you for everything.
Can't believe it'll be 5 years soon.
Still miss ya man. 😔
I'd give anything to be there ❤ RIP Keith. You are the Prodigy ❤️
Jesus, whoever designed the effects for this show REALLY earned their paycheck.
This gave me goosebumps 😊
WOW , I got emotional and happy at the same time dancing to this looking at laser Keefe...!!
What a fantastic way to remember someone.. u just knew it was Firestarter and Keith straight away 🥳.
Amazing!!!🤩
Sick footage and set! Wicked for the upload mate! ❤💛💚
Brilliant !!!

Goosebumps and tears
RIP Keith Brother thank you for the joy, and to you Maxim and Liam

Amazing 👏👏👏
I saw the Prodigy twice when Keith was still alive. I doubt the Prodigy will ever return to Denver even though we are a huge market for electronic music. If they do return it certainly won't be the production that you saw. It will be scaled back quite a bit. Seeing this video makes me wish I could have seen them in the UK on this tour. Thank you for posting this!
