The prodigy live was one of the best bands I ever saw ...being a guitar player gizbutt was a inspiration..live drums etc.....the prodigy was not just a rave act....there's a lot of punk in there as well ....industrial experimental beats.they cross loads of paths I think it's what made them special ..Great band

Been a massive Prodigy fan since The Prodigy Experience was released way back in my teens. I was lucky enough to see them live several times and they blew me away every time with an energy I’ve never experienced at a gig before or since. They are simply the best live dance act BAR NONE!!! I was quite frustrated when I couldn't go to their concert in 1997, early days of the US tour for The Fat of the Land, it was not even for sale yet (where I was in 1997, Atlanta, USA, I only lived there in 1997 and 1998). I had been in the US for only like 3 weeks or so... I went to a couple concerts years later (not in the US), but still to this day, from the very day of that concert, I regret not being able to go. (the "longer story" is that there was this guy I knew, who liked mainly Industrial e EBM, and he literally looked like a legitimate Psychopath, he was quite fat, skinhead with a goatee, white, blond with blue eyes that didn´t blink, that basic psychopathic stare, who drove a piece of junk car from the eraly 80's or whatever... totally fucked up. So, the point is, I could get to some concerts if this guy was into the band, and I thought I had persuaded him via email to go to that concert, but he didn´t really know Prodigy, and thought it would be something like the Prodigy's sound from the early 90's... and at the very day of that show he backed out and said he was not going... But the FACT IS, a few weeks or months later, for whatever reason, this guy ended up listening to THE FAT Of THE LAND, by accident or whatever, and then he told me..."yeah... we should have gone to that concert... I didn´t know they souded like that...". But a few weeks after that I bought me an 87 car and didn't miss concerts I wanted to go!!!
I reckon the Prodigy have about the highest transfer rate of energy from performer to crowd .. including amps. Incredible act, Keith is sorely missed but never forgotten.
The first rave i ever went to was Prodigy in 1994. The most incredible night of my life. They are the most humble yet most explosive musical act on the planet!
Was there back in 2010! I also lost my wallet right at the moshpit! A week after, i received a mail, containing my wallet and all the contents of it (around 700 danish kroner and a few bus tickets). Danish, respectful and honesty, at it’s finest. Will always have Roskilde Festival 2010 in my memory.

You´re not necessarily wrong, but if you´re saying that you clearly are not familiar with SO MANY BANDS that are generally categorized as Industrial Music. And, actually, the *very bands* that influenced that type of sound Prodigy made ( merging electronic and metal seamlessly).

That's an awesome memory to have. Ive waited since 97 to be able to see them live. And it's was just 2 months before Keith's passing that It was announced they were going to be coming to my city. Never saw them live, but i think they are o e of the most underrated live acts. Beeing a bug Fan Fron the early beginning back in 1991, when IT all started with everybody in the place and the p exerience i first had on tdk tape... IT was indeed out of space.
