2021 was the first year I almost got hit hard with army worms in southern Indiana and caught them just in time. However I used Hi-Yield 38 to kill them. I'm not a big fan of that stuff because it'll plug your nozzles up. Slimy stuff gets caught in the screens. Anyway, I went to mow a day or two later and the front of my deck was all splattered up with dead army worms. Like I said, I caught them just in time. I have a picture of them on my mower deck from that year. They were horrible!
The Acelepryn rates for armyworms is 2-4 oz per acre and for grubs its 8-16 oz per acre. Are you using the low rate for grubs of 8 oz? Will this get you 4 months of coverage for both grubs and armyworms? Would it need to be watered in to work for both grubs and armyworms? Thanks for the info! I lost about 2k sq ft and am trying to prepare for next year.
@@jasonrubright3445 that area is not irrigated.. soon will be! My two biggest struggles with fescue here in North Carolina is drought and GLS gray leaf spot.. I don’t see any legions
Thanks!
