Amazing I love Talladega National Forest it’s a wonderful hiking trail I love the scenic view of the mountain amazing. Talladega National forest is one of the best hiking trails in Alabama.
Great video! I started at Turnipseed and did the loop clockwise in October ’18. Also had a total lack of water on the Pinhoti! I camped one night at the top of the stairway to heaven.
Thanks for watching Jim. I hope the video brought back some good memories on the trail. We wanted to start at Adams Gap, but the parking area was jam packed full.
Awesome!...I love Mt. Cheaha...been there many times one of my favorite places to go to and it is a reasonable drive from Florida..did you go to Desoto Falls?...beautiful time to visit..i have always visited in the spring!..btw...I love the 1970s knee length socks..reminds me of my 1970's childhood!..blown down trees are common there it always seems to get alot of ice storms..
Thank you Mike & Happy Holidays to you. Knee high socks are hard to come by lol. But I usually buy unopened vintage pairs on Ebay. :) I haven't been to Desoto Falls yet, but it's definitely on my Alabama bucket list.
