You did "You Don't Even Know Who I Am" by Patty a long time ago and loved it. That Kinda A Girl is a great song but doesn't show off her voice like some others. She is a Country Music Hall of Fame member and Rolling Stone Magazine named her one of the best 200 singers of all time regardless of genre or gender,
she used to live down the street from me, she is from my hometown Kings Mountain, i hung out with her and her band back in the day at a place called Don Connors Night club and Dancehall...lol...I never danced though... I still remember when the label came to hear her and signed her on the spot.
@@angieday5183 she lived in kings mountain after that she was married to Terry Lovelace he played drums and they were a house band at Don Connors night club on the edge of crowders mountain, the label guys came and signed her but only wanted her, so she ditched terry and the band and left with those guys the next day. it was a shitty thing to do but she was chasing the fame...i lived on first street, they lived at the very bottom of second street in a tiny mobile home she even changed her name to love-less when she got set up in Nashville, so there wouldn't be any way terry could claim the songs the band wrote ..they wrote the music and the guitarist wrote most of the lyrics, my brother was good friends with terry that's how i met them, i sold them weed, and I got the dirt from Terry himself after she dumped him and the band.
Must hear "You'll Never Leave harlan Alive" by Patty. Live version. Awesome, touching, singing and storytelling. ua-cam.com/video/1n57WBtvtC4/v-deo.html
