Currently work on my .15 TRX on my Traxxas Nitro sport, putting new clutch shoes on it along with a new bell housing. Mailman needs to hurry up and get my parts delivered lol.
Common Signs of A-war note piston sleeve is the engine runs find one cold warms up and shuts off and will not restart till cold again Or when you disassemble the engine and the piston goes all the way at the end of a sleeve Make appsolutely sure you pay close attention to how the orientation of the engine came apart and goes back together because it's easy to put them back together wrong and not run properly You can put a smalle mark on the back of the connecting rod with a metal scribe so you do not lose orientation upon disassembly make sure to thoroughly clean oil parts before reassembly
maan you calling me out with the polishing! lol, just kidding. that sleeve i did polish is just sitting on my nightstand now, it came from a dead engine.
All good I wasn't calling you out I was just putting it out there in general sense I get the question quite often in the comments should I Polish the sleeve and the answer is always no but polishing one for fun just look at absolutely fine
Hey Man I found my old traxxas Pro .15 engine and I defenetly want to rebuild it! The manifold seal and the head gasket need to be replaced. The fuel tank is very dirty and there was still some fuel in it so I should replace it aswell. Im from germany and I cant find anyone who has spare parts for the engine.. Where did you get yours and can I buy them from germany aswell? Nice video, helped me a lot with my engine :)
