$700 ECU Tuning SO BAD That It Makes Us Angry

- This ECU was sent to us by a customer after having it "tuned" elsewhere, and what we find in the ECU is SO BAD that we had to share it. Actually, it downright pissed me off.
This is so bad that it isn't even funny, honestly, because this quality of tuning this person received is not only an ENORMOUS rip off, it's downright DANGEROUS for the health of this engine!
At that price point you should ABSOLUTELY CALL THEM OUT BY NAME.
Come on dude, they don't have enough time to do a good $700 ECU flash. That social media presence and flashy website aren't going to build and maintain themselves. Anyways, keep preaching brother.
I recently sent you my previously flashed gsx-r 750 ecu and the result is like night and day: now I have a very smooth curve over the entire range, backfiring is gone and the quickshifter is like butter. You gained a new customer for life !

Theory - Is the customer that sent this in the type that loves to rev the sh%t out of his bike at stop lights or in parking lots? Maybe the 'tuner' picked up on this and advanced the shit out of the neutral map in hopes that the engine would self destruct and put itself out of its misery.

I’m sure this dude is honest but just telling what some tuners are doing without naming them and letting other people get screwed you keep your mouth shut, have your customer give the name, why believe you without proof?

When I send in my ecu this fall on my kawasaki z 400 2022 can I get a printed copy of the oem? Before you change it & a copy of your new mapping?
Really consider that 2nd part of your question and try to figure out why that would never be plausible.
I wanna send in my 2016 ninja 650 ecu so bad. It’s kind of running hot after checking everything and getting terrible mpg. Only mods are full exhaust. Tell me not toooooo
Full exhaust increases air flow. They run pretty lean in stock condition. You've made it worse. Lean runs hot. GET IT TUNED.

IDK anyone charging $700 for an ECU flash. That's the problem with not being transparent.
He does say most other tuners are selling you doggsh1t, like that's the point of the video, go anywhere else and risk it kind of message. Maybe there is no other "tuner" maybe it's a ploy to drum up more biz?

@@frank2915he ain’t good. Bricked my ECU and told me to F off. Nate found me another ECU and well sorted me out.
@AaronP220 😮 this is why we need open discussions about shady businesses like this. We need these bad tuners to be called out. The only way to stop them is to starve them out and posting about these experiences is the only way to do it. Glad I saw your post as I'm planning on sending out my ecu this winter. Sorry to hear about your unfortunate experience with them
@@AaronP220find that hard to believe. I bricked my ecu using woolich and i sent them a support ticket and had it sorted out within a few hours. Why would chris moore tell you to f off when its a easy process to fix and make you get a new ecu
