These lighting breakdowns are so helpful. Thank you for taking the time to go into the lighting in such detail
🔥🔥🔥🔥 setup and breakdown. I normally use led lights for color, but I'm going to try flash with gels.
Planning on using these videos and your setups to help me learn studio photography and man I love this setup cant wait to make my own version of it
I’m glad I could help!
Thanks for another great video!!
Thank you!
awesome video as usual
Thank you!
A very big fan of your work . And I get inspiration from your work too, which betters mine
Thank you! Means alot to me. I hope these videos help show my process
nice explanation of your set up. i'd like to see more of the photos with her hair slicked back, tha was a nice look
Amazing video... lighting is always really complicated for me and this helps a lot.... Unrelated to this video though can you please bring back motivation Mondays🙏🏽🙏🏽
Noted! and thanks!!
I love watching your videos!! Question, What if your studio isn’t white. Could i still use the same lighting set up as the light on the right with the color gel filter pointing to the ceiling?
You can get similar results but might be needed more lights
If you leave the light where is it and bring the gobo closer to the subject, the shadow line will become harder. Great work, great video, great breakdown, much appreciated.
Where did you get your white box? What are the dimensions of it?
Could you have used an optical spot or would the light not have looked as good on the model?
An optical snoot will probably be great for this
At Duration 12:30 what is the name of the modifier that you used? Could you comment the link to it please?
i’m sorry i meant the brand of the barn doors and link
Mole Richardson light
DO YOU USE AWB OR CUSTOM??
5600
Any patrons? Any one on ones?
Unfortunately none of that for now. If you have any immediate questions please ask here and I'll answer.
I know you said it a million times but Im hard of hearing and cannot understand. Is that a Mole Richardson? And if so, which one?
Yes. It’s 1000 watt light
one question my friend, how do you make that "back drop" that white wall-floor behind the model? that curved corner is a mystery to me, how do you fit that curve at the bottom seamlessly, what is it made of? I would sincerely appreciate your input, perhaps you could make a video showing it, thank you.
It is a cyclorama (cyc for short) built into the studio. It's made of wood and plaster and then painted. They are cool to have in your studio, but they are also a lot of upkeep. There are videos on YT showing people building them.
@@zacgrimaldo thank you very much, I appreciate it.
