As a fat guy who isn't conventionally attractive and watches AugustTheDuck, I can confirm that I do in fact have many friends, a wonderful girlfriend and a loving family. I study full time, I work, take walks, eat whatever the fuck makes me happy, I take care of the people I love, have healthy boundaries and love to see them thriving. Why? Not because I'm attractive. Because I'm a decent human being who was fortunate enough to grow up in a healthy environment! There is something seriously wrong with this person if she thinks all attractive people are happy and motivated...

I was fat throughout highschool, not trying to brag here just giving details. I got laid alot, was a bit of a player even. Hated that about myself too. I was so sold on the culture of sex that I legit played into it and had regret over specific aspects of it. I was confident and smart, also thankfully at the cut off point for height so I didnt really struggle. I've dated women prettier than this girl, I've slept with women prettier than this girl. I've thrown women off of me prettier than this girl even lmao. Needless to say, the player nature and being a party boy and all, landed me in jail eventually because the party never stopped. When you live a life without purpose besides being self-absorbed, or going after good looking people, or worrying about what people think of you, etc. You tend to lose this thing called "purpose" and thats where you end up getting humbled as I did. I was a typical douchebag that just wanted to have fun and get laid because I felt unique at the time. I wasn't conventionally attractive, especially not in the body aspect and I was able to do things people said I'd never do and it did absolutely NOTHING for me lmao. If anything it damaged my life more than fulfilled it.
Moral of the Story : Beauty & Attraction fade, but bad decisions last a lifetime. If you go throughout life worrying about image and being seen certain ways, you're likely gonna end up in a bad place, whether it be jail, homeless, on drugs, leeching off your parents, etc. Theres more to life than the random genetic pool we're born with, and this person will eventually be humbled like I was 😂

Like goodness, I had a friend who's pretty but miserable because of her family. Ended being so negative towards her friends too that it's hard for me to handle her as well. I tried to help of course but she carries her ways towards her family to me as well.
Like if she's angry she'll never talk to you EVER until you try to fix it. I was able to fix it once cause we were classmate but the 2nd didn't do well cause we live so far and she doesn't respond to chats. I still wish the best for her, I just don't want to cling on someone who doesn't seem to care.
Also a lot of people who's seen as ugly are likely to feel happy of what they have. At least I do, though I'm fine with my looks I'm probably seen as ugly based on beauty standards.

She reminds me of a woman I knew in high school. We ran into each other a few years later. She went to Michigan State University which is massive. When I asked how she like it, she said something like “it’s good. I’m super popular like one of the most popular on campus”. I was confused as colleges don’t really have that hierarchy like a cliche high school (and our high school was only kinda like that). I asked if she meant she just had a ton of friends and more friends than most, she said something like, “no, I’m saying like people are envious of us and our sorority is only the most popular girls”. My husband linked me the video previous to this one and then I came across this follow-up. Listening to Bethany was cringe but, at the same time, I felt sad for her. She is definitely naive, her mindset is stuck in high school (because 98% of the things she said reminded me of those years), she loves to stay in a holding pattern of loopness and quite immature. It also sounds like Bethany has some issues she needs to address with a therapist because, my lawd, there are some seriously deep seated problems simmering just under the surface. My daughter will be 18 years old come July - she is beautiful (granted, I am biased), works as a barista at Star Bucks, goes to school (this is her senior year), has travelled to Spain twice with her Spanish class and is heading to University next fall. My daughter is humble, does not take crap from anyone, has high empathy and is just rocking. I am grateful that my daughter is who she is and nothing near like Bethany. My heart goes out to Bethany - please go to college, see the world, travel, meet other people so you can mature and be a better functioning person in society. ^.^ I, too, wish you good luck. I was/am a heavier guy, and I remember in Middle-School/early high school in Chorus, this popular cheerleader would make an effort to sit behind me and grind her tennis shoe into the section of my back exposed by the chair and laugh, I even got angry one time and grabbed her foot and she seemed to think it was funny. She was also, incidentally, apparently giving fellatio on school grounds during the day at one point so I imagine she's probably pumped out the last of her welfare children by now. That was a little rambling, but your comment reminded me of her endless "compassion". That's one of those moments, looking back, where I wish I hadn't been so passive...I always tried to "be the better man" when I probably should have stood up for myself more, but it probably would have just made things even worse.

I can’t find the articles in question but a study has shown that you can divide by 5 the total of people that you think are really noticing you in the places you go, humans are paranoid when really people only care about themselves, and some stuff people might see as interest are really coincidence and no one actually thought about the fact that you were here. So yeah, just saying, “you can see everyone stop their conversation and then it goes towards you” nah, people are just judging or simply don’t care.. might be hard to admit but stating this is pure narcissism.

Ok I know this is more a comment about the previous video on her but despite the fact that I’m a pudgy 19 year boy who’s nowhere near conventionally attractive, that didn’t stop an elderly woman from gr*ping me at my job a few months ago. Also I love that she refers to attractive/ugly like it’s black and white like everyone has attractive qualities about them and unattractive qualities and beauty is so subjective. It’s more of a spectrum than anything.

I feel bad for her. She sounds miserable and because of that she feels compelled to put others down. Sadly, this will be online forever and when she’s old enough to have a ounce of sense (here’s hoping) she will have this to remind her of how awful she behaved. I agree I definitely had a fase when I was around 13/14 years old where I constantly felt the need to be negative about everything and put others down. It was also due to having a very toxic and abusive mom but that’s definitely not an excuse. I just remember constantly thinking black and white and having a very defensive mindset. It took me a lot of effort and therapy to relearn my thinking processes and starting to love my life. I’m glad I didn’t post stuff on the internet like her. I’m 21 now but I still cringe at chat messages with friends from when I was 14. 😅

I appreciate your video and addressing her narcissistic and childish behavior. Her view on everything as far as her experience and the people she surrounds herself with always seems like a one sided bias.
I'm afraid though she won't grasp this until she is willing to change her mindset as a functional adult in society. I also feel sorry for her audience feeding her gratification and anyone taking in her misinformation.
What I’m thinking is Bethany may be doing multiple things; 1. She’s not compassionate or empathetic, 2. She does not get social cues, 3. She’s projecting her insecurities and delusions, 4. She’s been influenced or raised this way, 5. She wants views, or 6. She’s doing all of those 5 things. Regardless, she definitely needs to do some self-reflecting on what’s right, what’s wrong, and what really matters. Looks don’t mean much when it comes to somebody’s personality. If you have a good personality, you’re golden. Anything can happen to anyone whether you work at Gucci and have makeup on your face or work at a fast food restaurant and have messy hair and an apron on.
Probably a little of most of those things, but I bet number 4 is where most of this is coming from...she has been raised with these values by superficial parents or guardians. The privilege emanating from this girl is amazing....

I've done my fair share of diagnosing people with no credentials to do so, but I do think it's fair to point out narcissistic defense mechanisms and tendencies. A narcissistic personality disorder is a related but separate thing. She does seem to employ a lot of narcissistic defenses. The way she victimizes herself for being attractive is just amazing.
At the crux of these defenses is a very human insecurity and you can see it in these kind of interactions where the person being addressed just defaults to a defense that says "you are evil and out to get me". I think you can rationally tackle an accusation of narcissism but saying somebody is being a meanie is not that.
6:22 m: first of all, I am far from lonely as I have wonderful family and friends around me. Plus, I am a new subscriber to your channel as I stumbled across your channel a few days ago. As an “ugly” person, yea Bethany literally has the mindset of a 6 year old because I have seen so many “ugly” people actually have a life.
That's simply because beauty is psychologically subjective, otherwise the beauty standards of society wouldn't have changed so drastically over the years. We are brainwashed from a young age that there's one type of attractiveness by mass media and its just simply untrue and nothing but a marketing scam.
I never comment on videos but felt i just needed to say this… I used to work for an absolutely DROP DEAD GORGEOUS woman. She was actually a model before owning her own business. But she was literally the most miserable human I have ever met. She was toxic, negative, complained about everything, etc. sure she ate healthy and worked out like a fiend but almost to an unhealthy degree where it was obsessive.
