Facts 💯 Exactly why "stereotypically" average or below average people have no problem getting laid, getting married, having families and fulfilling lives. She needs to seriously touch some grass. Not to mention has she ever heard that beauty is in the eye of the beholder? Everyone has a different type preference. I'm positive there are men who wouldn't find her physically attractive at all because they are into an entirely different look.

I mean, I feel for her if this is true but I also question her life choices if these things were when she was older. No victim blaming but it's like if I got robbed 10 times before I was 20 because I walked through the ghetto flaunting my money. I'm still a victim but someone needs to help teach me making better life choices.
Either way, that sucks if that stuff happened to her. I still wouldn't tell people not to make friends with people less attractive than them.

As a conventionally unattractive person, I can say that I, too, have
    1. Been SA'ed
    2. Been followed by random men
    3. Had a bunch of people be fake nice to me and pretend to be my friend only to sabotage me
    4. Been in abusive, toxic relationships
    5. Had people alter their personalities to try and get my approval

    • @BeesRecipes

      Likewise,
I'm generally seen as attractive and I've never been SA'd or kidnapped or anything like that. I also don't think people are nice to me because of my looks. Not everyone is trying to manipulate or get something from u all the time.
I have been in an abusive relationship, but that happened because I had low self esteem, not because of my looks. The abusive guy would have screwed anything that moved lol.
This girl is delu-lu. Abusive fake people don't just follow attractive people wherever they go. But you know what traits do attract these things? Vulnerability and low self esteem. Ain't got anything to do with looks.

She is 18 so I’m not surprised, 18 is still pretty much a child they have no real world experience outside of their own. Every teenager goes through some type of main character syndrome, though it varies.
IMO she is a traumatized child trying to rationalize the world around her and why the things that happened to her happened.
Her mentality is still that of child, and due to her trauma it more than likely that it delayed her in the mental and emotional development department.

Edit: To everybody who's been in this scenario: I'm with you, you are not to blame for what happened, no matter what AHs like the one in the video say. This happens because those beasts failed as humans and justifying it with your physical appearence is just another idiot attempt to deflect the blame from those beasts. Also 1/3 of all women in the US have or will experience SA at some point in their lives- I'm absolutely certain that every one wouldn't pass this woman criteria for attractiveness.

She says she does, but I don't think she actually realizes that beauty is quite subjective. Like when I look at her, I don't get those fuzzy feelings of "Wow, she's so beautiful." To me? She's honestly nothing special. Certainly not ugly, but she really just doesn't evoke those feelings. Like, at all. And that isn't me trying to "humble" her or even really comment on her looks. There is NOTHING wrong with how she looks at all.
But it's ironic because when she hears "Hey, you aren't actually THAT pretty." She thinks "Oh they're lying because they're jealous." Like??? Maybe these thoughts are because you're insecure?? And maybe people are telling you that because they want you to know PEOPLE CAN TELL?? We all know that being overconfident and arrogant are defense mechanisms. And when people give you a reality check it normally isn't out of malice. It's because acting like this is fucking embarassing. Not every group has nefarious intentions. Groups of girls follow a boy in the hall at school. They whisper and giggle.
But if you're specifically talking about a single girl walking home from the club after she has drank and flirted with them all night, and then they followed her, yes it IS normal.
That is to say, it's often what will happen.
Just like if I went to a rough part of town with $100 bills stapled on my clothes, I'd be lucky to make it home clothes or alive.
Does "normal" mean "should"? No ofc not. But it's like, if you smoke cigarettes, typically you're going to experience health problems. And that's pretty normal for a cigarette smoker.

A common one is if your friend compliments you, and you reply "you're just saying that because you're my friend". For me, I always felt like people only tolerate me because I am disabled and they feel sorry for me, not because they actually like me as a person or even think I'm deserving of any kindness. Nobody wants to live their life in confusion. So if they can't find clarity through intelligence and reasoning, they will often create/piggyback off some simplified world views (that often conveniently benefit/support them and their lifestyles).

I'm so insecure and I look at myself and tell myself how awful and ugly I look. I don't go out my house unless absolutely necessary. I avoid people all I can. I was SA and never once did I say I was SA because I'm sooo attractive. People have told me I'm beautiful but when we feel so ugly about ourselves, their words mean nothing...... I'm so very sorry for what you have gone through. Just know that there are people out here in the world that care.
People judge each other based on their looks usually(not all do this) instead of getting to know the person's heart and mind. Looks are not everything. We age and looks fade away, but a genuinely good person looks amazing because they radiate love and kindness towards others. You sound like a great person and I'm sure you would make a great friend...... if you ever just want to talk, I am here. Much love to uou❤

Just to clear something up: you do NOT get SA'd based on attractiveness. It's about someone claiming power. Granted, the attractiveness could be a factor if the event happened during/after a date, but the act itself is about claiming power over another person.
Toxic people will also generally hook up with whoever can stand them, especially the older you get. But yeah, everyone gets into terrible relationships. Attractive people are not more likely to have this happen. In fact, I'd say immature people and/or those with low self-esteem are the prime targets of such things. This person is the prime example of the first one. I'd say she's even a bit immature for 18...

Not really, being narcissist itself isn't necessarily a disorder, however having NPD disorder is when you have serious issues.
Narcissism has two definitions that way, and while it might be more careful to only call narcissists those with the disorder, calling people with narcissistic traits narcissists isn't wrong either. Narcissist's definition is "someone who has too much admiration for himself or herself" in the Cambridge dictionnary, and is synonymous to arrogant, egoistic, patronizing and pompous.
      Also, WebMD says that:
"Not every narcissist has narcissistic personality disorder (NPD), as narcissism is a spectrum. People who are at the highest end of the spectrum are those that are classified as NPD, but others, still with narcissistic traits, may fall on the lower end of the narcissistic spectrum. - 30 mars 2023"

When i was young, my car broke down, i walked three blocks and had nine men approach me, and she wouldnt call me "pretty" enough but those guys didnt know that i guess. They seemed to have their own agendas. Scary whether youre beautiful or not, i still cant giggle about it.
Age will depress her the most with views and spirit like hers.

BEST COMMENT! YES! You're absolutely right! I was harassed by men even though I'm of average looks -- from like 15 to late-30s guys bothered me.
One followed me while I was driving, so I drove to a police station, that scared him off. Another time I actually kicked a guy because he kept talking to me while I was in a restaurant reading while I was eating. Word got around and a young woman who worked in a bank next to the restaurant said I was a "hero" because that same guy bothered all the girls in the bank. My point here is that I wasn't singled out, it was "all the girls in the bank." They were all young too!
Another time a guy grabbed me on an escalator. I kicked him so hard he fell backwards. Some women saw and cheered for me.
I've always embraced my age, and as I got older and this nonsense stopped I was happy about it. Though I do have a friend that said she misses the attention. She really looked sad when she said that too.

people in general get strange encounters. Although I wouldn’t say often I’d say some. I think online is especially dangerous though. Even though it’s well known there are still people who still become victims. Especially young people since they are more naive.

The way she talks about her beauty alone, I'd expect this absolutely stunning, almost otherwordly beautiful person, with a pure heart and inner light that you can see in her smiles, that makes her eyes light up, that almost makes her glow and makes her even more beautiful. But she's just...a person. I mean, she is pretty, but she is not this stunningly beautiful goddess she acts like she is.

Can you give an example of someone you'd consider to be beautiful like that?

Honestly I don't think humans are capable of the kind of beautiful I described. Beauty exists, people are beautiful, but goddess-level beautiful like I talked about is might be just for the myths and fairy tales.

@@hamdiyazid200 Jared Leto comes to mind. He also has a kind of sinister aspect to his appearance too, but I've seen him in person, and he's beautiful. Implausibly so. Like an otherworldly kind of beauty that doesn't seem real, and can't quite be captured in a photo/video.
