I remember the first time I watched one of your videos Martin. You were fairly new to YT, but I was thoroughly impressed with your content compared to other "analytic" types of channels. It was clear this was going to be a special channel. You didn't rely on shock value, graphic photos or depictions. Instead, you showcased the incredible depth and breadth of your knowledge and experience. Your videos were/are so layered with information that they easily bear multiple viewings. Your teaching experience really showed in your detailed explanations on the foundations of communication, conversation and statement analysis and the tactics of propaganda. Your videos have only improved over time. Your presentation style is confident and fluid, your commentary on criminal cases is respectful to the victims and their families AND, we get to enjoy your dry humour and sharp wit when you unmask and breakdown entertainers and politicians. Your videos are a true pleasure to watch, keep up the great work!

There are many of these people around, called narcissists....they have to fake empathy, have very little ability to self reflect or reason.
I found out my sister is a covert narcissist 2 yrs ago.
She's 51 and showed her true nature by trying to ruin a meeting I initiated.
She was working for the council and as they live for getting praise, and she had done something that went against our meeting.
She said that's the last time I do anything for you.
It was nothing to do with her or her dept.
She was doing it for attention from her bosses....not helping me.
I couldn't believe what she had done, and this was 3 days before the meeting.
She gave me silent treatment for 2 yrs and then punished me by not allowing her husband to help me occasionally, in the garden.
These narcissists can be just as dangerous as psychopaths.
No critical thinking, no responsibility and very much delusional thinking.
I didn't have a name for my sister's controlling behaviour but it's becoming more common due to women in work and having money.....and bullying.
She's raged at me because I know who she really is.
      I have no contact.

I'm pain disabled with a surgery that went terribly wrong 22 yrs ago, never been able to work....in bed now with awful burning pain.
And yet she hates me and wants to punish me further.
I've always shown her love and support over our life and towards her boys, who are nearly adults but she never let them get to know the rest of the family...but it appears it was not real from her, but copied or cognitive empathy.
I've never been a victim or used my pain to hurt others.....but as soon as things don't play out as she envisions, she goes berserk and rages and screams and is very scarey.
I'm glad I found out now before my parents pass, as I know how terrible she'll be, especially around material possessions. I don't know why she's the way she is.....her school friends are all the same evil types...maybe she copied them a nd it stuck but M and d said we were very different as children.

There is nothing in what she relates about shannan except a childish resentment towards her for making some funny remarks about her precious son ,that would lead us to believe that shannan was anything but how she appeared on social networks, loving, generous ,supportive, and kind ,but unfortunately for cindy she was very quick to see the aberrant dynamics of her relationship with chris. It's awful in thise interviews and in court where she says she forgives chris and how could this have happened to him as you say , it happened because of him. An apology to the Ruzeks would have been appropriate and a thank you to them for not asking for the death penalty , .I really think that family believe shannan was to blame for her own murder . I was married to a man like Chris Watts. I only found out his true nature, when his mask fell off, after he decided to leave after 26 years, and had been having an affair with a much younger woman. He actually came to the family home and asked me to leave as soon as |I could as his girlfriend was getting impatient to move in. Wanted me and 3 children to just leave with no where to go. I did not leave, and he tried to run me over/threw hot coffee over me, and phoned to tell me that he wanted to kill me....Looking back at the marriage I noted the following...He had never initiated conversations, I had always done so, but had not realized this. He agreed with my opinion on anything, never disagreed, never argued, never seemed to have a point of view. If I told him I thought it was a bad idea for our son to go to a certain place, he would agree, but if I had told him that I thought it was a great idea for our son to go to a certain place, he would also have agreed. He had no mind of his own and left me to "run the family", which I feel Chris did with Shan Ann. I feel that my ex husband was stuck to me with a heavy duty huge magnet, until someone came along who offered him sex/attention, more than he was getting at home (three children) and then the magnet became the woman and he became stuck to her. Just one day after work, came home, phoned his brother and told him he had a new girlfriend, whilst myself and the children were all within earshot, then turned around after putting the phone down, and I asked him if it was true, what I had just heard. He replied "Yes, I knew you would be annoyed" then said " You are all dead to me, I have moved on" and left !!!!!!!!! Then tried to get rid of us all, so he could move his girlfriend into the family home......It has taken 10 years of therapy to get to a place where I can now understand what happened and have some peace.

Wow !!! I dated a guy with these traits . At first , I thought it was shyness or social anxiety . I caught on when he actually started having ( seemingly ) deep insight , into my behavior . He seemed to be parroting another person's opinions , though . Because when I attempted to take the conversations further than the initial few observations . He would get angry and stop talking . Like you , there was another woman . It was her words , he was blurting out . 😉 Luckily , it wasn't a years long situation . No children or shared funds . It was creepy and an eye opening experience , never the less . Now we both know that there are shells of human beings . Hopefully , we have learned to ID and avoid them , at all costs . Sometimes I still ponder if my self delusion was worse than his masquerade ... 🤔 Thanks for sharing your experience . 💞

I was involved with a real game player and jealous of many things he became very critical of, emotional abuse and trying very hard to convince me of his reality. That's what Chriss Watts did to Shan'ann for many weeks. his lies, denials and finally telling her he didn't want the new baby! He told the investigators that as he was killing her, the disgusting coward gave the final blow, he didn't love her anymore!
He saw himself as a perpetual victim of Shan'ann's so called control, instead of her burden of caring for a weak empty third child. He actually says that Ce-Ce was always yelling at you and throwing chicken nuggets at him! The absolute BEST documentary I have watched many times and referred it to many women is on YT, called "Watts, the Unglamourous Truth". @@georgiegirl4103 Hello Georgiegirl, Thankyou for your message. I will watch the documentary you mention. You are correct when you mention that Chris was a weak empty third child. He seemed to want all the attention, as a small child would, and was jealous of the competition of his children. Had there been no children in the marriage ( as with mine), it possibly may have worked out (in a very dysfunctional way) as mine may have, if we had had no children..as he would have had all her attention, and could have been treated like a puppy dog...I suppose it stems from childhood, and his mother/my ex husbands mother, did not give them them love/adoration that they needed at a stage of their growth, and that need in them never matured. Who ever came along and offered them adoration, was likely to become the person their magnet fixed to, and myself/ShanAnn, could not fulfil that role anymore as too busy giving attention and love to the children, and also having the responsibility to make decisions for the family also, as these men lacked the ability to head the family...which leads also to feeling less respect to these men, as they are not *manning up* and protecting/leading the family... There is much to it, but it is ultimately very very sad. Thankyou for your message.x

It wasn’t the smile, because some people look like they’re smiling when they’re nervous-like a nervous tick-it was that his facial expression never changed. His voice never wavered when talking about his girls. He used the past tense when talking about his wife. His whole demeanor was very controlled. If you watch without sound, he could be talking to a neighbor about his lawn, or an upcoming homeowner’s association meeting-not his missing family.
It’s bad enough that he murdered his pregnant wife-yeah, he probably snapped when he killed her-but the way he murdered his sweet daughters was horrific, calculating and cold-hearted.
