Lovely guitar and really enjoyed your playing, thanks for the overview! I noticed Gibson had made one in the States a while back and was keen but after watching a few comparison vids I decided I couldn't justify the price (incl. shipping to HK) so I went with the Chinese made model here (tried 3 in the shop and found 'the one') for about a third of the price then modded with Lollar P90s / 50s wiring and a bone nut and it has become a real favourite. The neck is amazing - slim as hell . . . I prefer it to my 68 LP Custom which has a great 'slim 60s neck'. Thanks again and happy playing!
We approach every video as if someone new to guitar is watching for the very first time, however we have noticed that the demo playing is bit shorter than it should be and will be addressing this in future videos! Thanks for your feedback!
Yes and no . . . if you are looking for just one guitar then clearly a 335 (or Riviera or Sheraton) give you that higher fret access but I love this one because (a) it's super light, (b) the neck is slim, really 'playable' and (c) it plays beautifully acoustically, so I tend to keep it at home by the couch and take it into the studio when I need that 60s sound! I think John Lennon hung onto his Casino all those years because for him it was a 'writing instrument' - not for solos per se (altho he did OK on 'Get Back' 😃). Cheers.
I know the Chinese ones are not as good, but I loved mine so much that i went and dropped 2.8k on the USA Casino. Love them both!
I'm going to call that the Elizabeth Hurley guitar. Gorgeous beauty that never ages.
Definitely a stunner!
Thanks for the review. Would love to try one of these out for some Grant Green tones.

very well done🎉! Thanks!
I have one -- put a Lollar in the bridge and locking tuners.
Sounds so nice! BUT for the price, I don't have an ES 335
Just play it. The long winded explanations of what you are going to do make this nearly unwatchable.

Wrong a lot of us appreciate the thought and insight about each individual instrument. Great work Tarpley
I think the colors offered are vintage sunburst and what Gibson calls Royal Tan.
really nice a shame u cannot play high up on the neck!! make a deeper cutaway!! great video
Thanks for watching, Chris.
