Yay for blended diet🎉 we do both formula and a blended diet for our daughter and we have really loved it❤ it's so great to know that our kiddos can get some fresh foods😊
Crissie, I am so happy and excited about this news on Avery. Praying she takes the blended diet well. She had gotten so big. Praying your car gets fixed and that all goes well. Your move to Wales was good for your whole family, especially Avery. May God bless you and your precious family. ❤😊
Good news on the blended diet. Just knowing you have that option in case there’s a problem with her regular feeds must be a great relief for you, along with all the other benefits. Hope the car was a cheap and easy fix 🤞
Yay for whole foods. Your mom instincts are perfect. Maybe consult with her speech therapist to talk about feeding therapy on her level. Maybe they would approve sensory play with food. Also consider giving the Botox time if you can. Your family is doing a wonderful job taking care of Ms Avery, she looks so happy.
The blend of the porridge sounds like it helped with acid reflexes. I am so glad they, in wales, are for a blended diet. Hopefully you were able to get your car back on the road cheaply. Cars can be such a pain and a blessing.
Hi I think you are approaching it alot better .... I had so much pressure from dietician to do blends and felt stressed so put it off for a long time but decided i would do breakfast and lunch and then tea time would be a paediatric milk. Works for us and if my son is ever poorly and he needs to go on just the milk his tunmy is still used to it. I also blend his food with the pead milk to give extra calories. Its working so much better for him, bowels, reflux and hes finally putting weight on. Also helps woth his gut dystonia which def is a thing. Avery looks so well and happy, so grown up!!! ❤
Hi Chrissie That’s Brilliant that you started the Blended diet with Avery you know what’s best for her and how much to give her she’s a beautiful princess she’s getting tall I can’t believe how long her hair is for a year old she’s looking so much happier just now I think you and Josh made the right decision for your family I have never been to wales I had a friend who stayed in wales for a while is it a lovely place I think it’s got some nice holiday places I hope Josh managed to get the car fixed it’s a pain when they start costing money you are a brilliant family when I see your vlogs I think do ever stop as you are always so busy doing things for your family and Avery you look a lot happier since you moved to wales sending love to you all ❤❤❤❤❤
Glad you are trying baby on a blended diet. The other hospital seems to have held you guys back. The care Avery is getting is just great. Sorry you are having so many issues. Life is just not easy. We love you, we know you don’t show us everything. I know you need some rest. Have a good week!❤❤❤❤After watching Avery move, I feel like her arms are not going as straight as it used to. Maybe not spasming as much? I would keep trying the Botox.
I think that the move from the damp to the new house has been great for her overall health and now she's back in a place where trying new food again is possible. She simply wasn't well enough for several months.
Hi chrissie! Before i even watch this i just wanna say i am so excited to watch it! 😂 isaac finally had his PEG changed to the mickey button last week so a blended diet is now something we can consider! So i will probably be watching this multiple times!!! ❤xx can you recommend a blender??
How exciting, yes the Vitamix 100%, there’s an affiliate link in my description, or the other rival is the Blendtec, these are the two top dogs from what I’ve seen on the feeding tube support groups im on xx
At a placement when i was at college aged 19 year ild nany many many moons ago, we got food from a shop given free there was very posh food abd cakes were blended and two of oyr residents had to be fed with teaspoon i dont think there was a peg system back then if people couldnt fed with spoon they had drips up but they loved blended up puddings
Botox takes a couple of weeks before it works properly, and it will also most likely help her with pain in her body, which she cannot express to you vocally. The pain of dystonia will also be eased 🙏🏻♥
If you notice a small difference as you said,Then the next dose will make it even better. Maybe more or a stronger dose? I am writing this because I have experience in seeing this in a child with the same diagnosis❤
Botox doesn’t work straight away, it needs regular repeats. Bedford district allows blend diet in schools, just have to fight, and hospitals as well. Don’t give up

I didn’t realize how tall Avery is! She does seem to look stronger and more flexible after her Botox ❤
Aww it will be lovely for avery to have blended feeds, as you say you know whats in it then, shes gorgeous x
I was thinking about a pot of vegetable soup blended and fed to her warm. Homemade by you of course!❤
Hi Crissy, Love seeing Avery on real food again. I think her immune system will get stronger with whole organic food ❤❤❤

I’ve never seen Avery so strong and keep to get up on her feet.
Maybe the Botox?
❤❤❤
You need to stick out with the Botox it’s like all treatment it’s not gonna help straight away
