It's a stunning area isn't it. There will be snow falling on those mountains in the coming weeks and I look forward to a whole new landscape to camp in.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Thank you sweetheart Thank you so much for your very nice Adventure i like it so much GOD bless you where ever your going. A great thanks from Glendale California Jerry
You can tell how much Indy and yourself love these fun adventures. Your steak sandwich looked amazing and I know Indy loved his part. Thank you for taking us along. The scenery was beautiful and your fire was awesome and so inviting. Always so happy to see Indy along. See you next adventure.
Another enjoyable adventure. Loved the colors you captured of the sunrise at the end and the beautiful mountain scenery. And of course love to see the connection you and Indie share. Cheers!
Hi Sidney. Thank you. Yes it is a beautiful country. So far my videos have only showcased the mid to top of the South Island but I hope to wander further afield in the coming year and go to some really unusual spots further afield. My favourites are always places more off the beaten track than where most people choose to go.
Thanks Eddie. Yes it is a lovely spot, wild and tame all at the same time. I felt so lucky to be out there, especially walking out in the morning. True bliss.
@@adventureot I enjoy the beauty in nature, sometimes just the beauty of the terrain. I am completely blown away by the views of NZ. I also appreciate getting to follow along with great people and listen to your story. I also like the humorous parts of your videos. Keep up the great work and I look forward to more of your content. Really enjoyed this! I'm a fan of tarp tenting so it was great to see a tarp in use for rains and wind protection. Steak Sammy looked delicious! Looking forward to more of your adventures with Indy
Indi girl!! Pretty baby! Looks like a very nice way to spend an evening. Loved the shot of the big beautiful tree that was broken by the track, sad that it broke!
Really enjoyed the video! The snow covered mountains behind you at the beginning of your hike were gorgeous!! New Zealand is a place I’ve always wanted to visit. It seems to be such a beautiful country!
Another Great Video, BuddyDog sends his best to Indi. Keep them coming. Maybe, I don't know if it is possible but maybe a trip to the areas the Lord of the rings were shot, I hear it was in NZ. Thanks again for a great vid
Hi James. Hi Buddy. Interestingly this last camp is very close to one of the areas they filmed in. There are lots of locations scattered around New Zealand.
Great to see you back after a couple of weeks with indi, sad news today Tony AB camping his dog Bruce passed away and Simon a bloke in the woods lost his dog Maggie. We should always enjoy the special moments with our dogs every day. Steve.
Thanks Steve. You are so right. I am so thankful for the special moments with Indi. I was absolutely gutted to hear the news of Bruce's passing. He will be so missed. I didn't realise Simon had lost Maggie too. I'm so sorry to hear that.
Thank you for saying so dg4f, it is really nice to think that others are inspired to get out and explore and enjoy the great outdoors. My job is done! The yellow mat is a Thermarest bought from Rei Co-op. It is very old though. We were given it many years back so I don't know if they even make this design anymore. Its upside is it is very durable. Its downside is you have to blow it up and that introduces warm air to grow mould and bugs.
Ok, so. You could have stayed home, crack open a nice Pinot, eat Cheetos, watched Netflix. Instead you went out at 5:30 pm for a quick and joyous overnight and made what has to be one of my favorite videos of yours. Thanks C & I.
Thanks David, I agree with you. I also don't like thing lit up like a billboard when that is not how it is in real life. My only trouble is my camera throws a little wobbly when it can't detect enough light. I think I will have to go with a happy medium.
Yes I could only really sit in the front portion as it was hard to get the head room, even though I tied it as high up as I could. There was tons of low room at the back though.
Yes I agree with you Jane. Hence why I have bought a camera light now and have just started using that on my last trip. I am not going to over do the lighting though as I want the experience to be as close to the real thing for the viewer as it is for me, so that you get a true sense of night and day in the bush and all that it encompasses, rather than feeling like you are in a studio. Thanks for watching.
Great start to Sunday morning, beautiful views🐾🏕

Hi, put the kettle & toast on and sat down to find a new Adventure OT video. Great way to start a Sunday morning.

So cool that you go out camping in crazy weather conditions!
Thanks Steve. It adds a whole new element to a trip when you need to hunker down. I love it.

Great video. CHEERS!
My pleasure. Thanks James

Thanks Jean. Yes it was a lovely evening. I loved that tree too, it stood out so beautifully against the backdrop of the view.
Really enjoyed the video! The snow covered mountains behind you at the beginning of your hike were gorgeous!! New Zealand is a place I’ve always wanted to visit. It seems to be such a beautiful country!
Hopefully you get a chance to visit one day Chris. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Hi James. Hi Buddy. Interestingly this last camp is very close to one of the areas they filmed in. There are lots of locations scattered around New Zealand.
My “Beloved New Zealand” I spent Four Months travelling the North and South Island, and I still didn’t want to leave! (London Ontario Canada)
It is a magic place isn't it?! I hope my videos can help you reminisce about those good times.
Thanks for another great video
You are welcome John 😁

There's nothing much that phases you eh🙂. Awesome videos
Thanks Sandy. Sometimes I feel phased but I do try hard to look on the bright side and ride out the adventure for what it is.
Hi Indi and OT!! So nice to see you two very nice camping scenery and hearing the rain.. loved it!
Thank you so much 🙂
Love the video. Just found your channel. Doing a bit of binge watching.
Love it 😆 happy binge watching. Thanks for supporting the channel. Cathy
Thanks
I can again see why Lord of the Rings was filmed in NZ. Such stunning scenery!😍
Yes, for a little country it is packed full of enchanting places.
Thank you so much for reigniting my passion for camping again! I was wondering what brand dog bed/pad you use for Indi?

That is so cool. Thanks for that.
I only recently discovered your videos. You are very pretty (wow), pleasant and charming. Quite a distraction from the other adventure/camping videos.
Thanks for watching James. I appreciate you taking the time to comment and your support for the channel.
Love it! dont add any more lighting its so good without so much artificial stuff
Thanks David, I agree with you. I also don't like thing lit up like a billboard when that is not how it is in real life. My only trouble is my camera throws a little wobbly when it can't detect enough light. I think I will have to go with a happy medium.
Becoming one of my favourite channels! Looks an incredible area, where is it? South Island?
Thanks so much. Yes, South Island, inland Canterbury.
Hello i like your video ang i like your dog too....are you from new zealand?
Yes I am. Thank you so much for watching 🙂
I have a question, I been searching for your Orange Stoney Creek Tarp. I can’t find it anywhere, May I ask where you got it from?
Of course. I got mine (Drone model) from Hunting and Fishing here in New Zealand. There is also a Stoney Creek website where you can buy them. 🙂
That was fast! Interesting that the plow point gives the room in the back. Not that helpful as your kitchen lounge. Ill keep that in mind. Thank you.
Yes I could only really sit in the front portion as it was hard to get the head room, even though I tied it as high up as I could. There was tons of low room at the back though.
Some light would be nice.

@adventureot I love watching your videos. I would love to do what you do.
i have had this issue and may have to just get a polycotton tarp
Yes they would probably be bulletproof I imagine.
