IR should utilize the space between Madurai Jn and Koodal Nagar and build 4 lines (currently cris-crossed 3 lines till bridge) and build a new Broad Gauge bridge over Vaigai that can accommodate 2 lines and then upto Koodal Nagar. This will provide easy option for shunting trains to Koodal Nagar for maintenance. If it is allowed and if you can capture, please do a Drone video from Madurai Jn towards Koodal Nagar at least till the Sellur ROB and Subway.

@@amtrailsinfra No, I meant those 2 as separate items. One is the Pit Line work upgrade to accommodate VB train. This is on the Railway colony side. Other is PF1A which is adjacent to PF1, close the retiring room.

the recently laid platform has two tracks eitherside one is 6 and other leads to the shed and i assumed it the one leading to the shed is 7. so the one i previously mentioned is wrong .. Right now madurai has 7 platforms
