i have a 95 flareside that i got new on my 17th bday in march of 95. it is light opal according to the window sticker that i still have. 4.9 with 5 speed 187000 miles. it still wears original paint and will outshine new vehicles.
Iv got 3 obs trucks I'm not sure what one to start on first the 93 long bed with the 5.0 ..the 95 extended cab 5.0 or the 96 short bed with the 5.8 but I enjoy watching your vids thank you for taking us along the journey have a good one 🍻
That turned out great, I did mine in Red but I will plan on getting your H/Vac parts, I hope they last cause I cant quite swing it right now, the Radiator core support job on my 95 Flareside I'm doing ballooned out of control and I had spend more on parts then I planed, great video
I got the HVAC controls for my 92 and 95 Broncos, I put blue led in they look great ! I think the control face and dials are the same in my 99 Superduty so it will be getting the same upgrade!
Oh dang, I meant the buffing and polishing compounds you used on the plastic cover, but thanks, it's good to know you used high-quality products. I can't wait to install the climate control face. Thanks for the reply.
Hey sorry on the late response. Basically I just used wet sand paper starting at around 800, 1200, 1500, 2000, 2500 and then used a buffing compound and a polish. I'll try and get a video up in the next couple days another alternative is you could pick up a headlight restoration kit I would only use the drill attachment to polish and would sand by hand as the instrument cluster is pretty fragile. Hope this helps!
Hey, I just put the needle on hooked everything up and started the truck. I then played with the needles to ensure all were positioned right before the final installation. I hope that helps!
Hey thanks! The best way is to install the instrument cluster back in the truck but leave the needles off and clear cover off. You can then start the truck and then turn the truck off. Then reinstall the needles in the off position for each gauge. You can then test it again, make any adjustments and when you are happy put the clear cover back on! Hope this helps!
Btw, if you have one of the hvac labels that isn’t dark enough would you be willing to sell it? I wouldn’t mind the red I’m installing bleeding thru. Let me know
Hey, I don’t have any of the old ones that have the black bleed through. The hvac controls we have in stock will shine through red if you use red LED bulbs tho! Hope this helps!
Ok new question, I took off the clear cover then was taking off the black trim before taking off the needles and a little spring kind of fell out. Any idea what that could go to? Truck is a 95 bronco, automatic with push button 4x4
Hey, you can install the cluster but leave the plastic cover off. Turn the truck on and then install the needles. I found that to be the best way to get your needles lined up correctly. It might take a bit of playing with. Hope that helps!
Hey @aaronred01 The truck project was delayed big time due to work, moving, and a few other factors. I'll try to get an update video posted to explain the delays.

Awsome video, what 3M products did you use on the gauge cover? Thanks, and just waiting for my HVAC cover i ordered from you a few weeks ago.
Hey! Your order should arrive on the 15th! The covers are made with 3m Adhesive backing if that makes sense!

What did you do to align the oil gauge?
Hey, I just put the needle on hooked everything up and started the truck. I then played with the needles to ensure all were positioned right before the final installation. I hope that helps!
Is there a good way to assure that the needles are reinstalled in the correct orientation? Getting ready to do this to my bronco. Great write up!

Man I have no Idea! It might be for the 4x4 button on the black trim?
What Model Speedo did your Unit come out of and what Year OBS. My Truck is a 1994 I won't to put a Tack in .
Hi, It is the factory Speedo out of my 92 XLT. I hope this answers your question!
I did this and now my needles don't move like they use to. Can you install them wrong? I didn't see in the video how you lined them back up

@@chinookauto sounds good I'll give that a try. Thank you
