My daughter just turned 19 and started her first year in college. I never really argued a single cent that went to her, and I paid for my child.... every single cent. Not the ex-wife... me. If she needed a toothbrush, it came out of my money. Heck I remember the ex-wife charging me for a slice of pizza she bought her (swear to God that happened). I paid it. Now, I'm paying my end for the college and I still won't argue it. She is my daughter and I am very proud of her and I can look back and know I fulfilled my obligation. It wasn't always easy and I went without some toys so she could have some... but that is fine. The reality is though the law need to be adjusted to reflect modern realities. The parents both equally need to provide for the child. I chose to go the route I did, but I understand not everyone can do that.

Somehow it came out while he was dating his now wife and he went to get a paternity test which proved the kid wasn't his. The judge still made him pay since he's on the birth certificate even though the real dad (come to find out) was in the kids life behind his back....

I know a guy, who's wife left a 2mo old at his apartment to never be seen again. Fast forward.14 years.
His boss tells him colorado is garnished his check like almost 3/4 of it. Colorado said he's owes 14 years back child support and reimbursement for money they payed. He left work sent them everything from school records and years of proof he has raised the boy. Not good keeped all that money, and 2 more weeks. before he could get them to stop. I will guess about 2500 dollars, he never got it back too. He finally told them to prove she had the kid show a school record a doctor's visit paid for by the state. And guess what. When her parents told the state worker she has not been seen or heard from in 14 years and he has raised his son. They gave in.
IN ALL HONESTY, THAT'S WHY GOD GAVE A WOMAN 3 HOLES. DO NOT USE 1 OF THEM. NO MATTER WHAT

That's confusing.... Her own parents haven't heard from her in 14 years, and this "ghost", after 14 years, remembers she had a son, and has the idea to pull a cs scam, without any physical proof of raising the child, and they actually take action?... Something smells fishy.
@@maybewise that's how child support works. It's for the woman. It takes a woman a week to get a court appointment. 15 minutes to tell the judge you her baby daddy. Judge takes 5 minutes and say well he is not here to say he is not the father. So I'm going say that's his omit to being the father. Judge ask her how much she needs to raise a kid she might not even have one at all .she says I need 700 a month. Judge says ok .now you at home .you don't even know the girl at all ..and by the way this is a true story it happened here in Detroit a few years back. You at home get a call from your job saying we taking out money for child support. You like what kid ..now it takes you a month to find who they talking about. Takes you a year to get a court hearing. And she doesn't show up .guess what you still got to pay her and that court fee . And the judge tells you .set another date you do a year later. She still doesn't show up .in the mean time your checks are 40 bucks you get a week .. you go to the next hearing and bam she doesn't show either. You ask the judge wait why she not showing and if I miss one time I have a warrant out for my arrest. Judge looks you dead in the eyes and say .she can show when ever she wants to ..now here is the best part. You finally get that chick to show up .remind you you never met her or seen her before. You go back and forth. Judge ask for a test .she can't produce a kid .judge rules in your favor. Now you want your back money they took for those years .and the judge says to you .you have to sue her to get your money back .which by the way she has no job .. remember these words no deposits no returns..

Don't get me wrong, my daddy, and stepmother were GREAT people, but I only saw him every other weekend, and it was clear they were making money, working from home, while my momma was breaking her back, working odd jobs. But instead of seeking cs, she came over to their nice ass house one day, when they called her over to discuss it, and offered her $100 a month, knowing we were living in sections 8, surviving on food stamps. She was so insulted, she told them she didn't even want their money, and left. I get it. Like, you know how much I could take you for back child support, and as a "Thank you", you're offering me a FRACTION of what I'd need?.. It's not even like my mom did drugs, or anything. Smh.
