Amazing video! Definitely make a part two. Would love to see something on how you manage getting your own BTS and what your experiences on set with ninjas zipping around you have been like. Great content, Kofi!
Thanks for this content. I've shot behind the scenes video/photos in the past but you shed some light on things i never paid attention to. This is VERY helpful. I look at it differently! THANK YOU!
Bro! This was literally right on time. I just watched your old video yesterday on BTS. I have a gig this weekend for a local production company so this was perfect timing for sure. Thanks man!
Impressive tips, mate. Really appreciate it! Learning from others mistakes is always better than finding that yourself especially for someone starting up.
So, I was already all over your video, great info, easy to digest logic,.. and then I saw Mark Bone,.. yep that gave this another level for me :) I've already signed up for the AoD classes, and you have proven that you travel in great circles
Super great content, sir! It's amazing how can you put out sooo much helpful and informative content; on top of your primary career behind the lens. This is great stuff. Being in marketing, film making comprises a small percentage of my career, so finding moments to gain the industry knowledge necessary to excel are few and far. What you are sharing is gold and your stuff has been instrumental in helping me with my exploration into the cinematography world. Thanks you for all you do man. You seriously crush it. Oh and do you do VO? If not, you should.
I have a question. So we just take videos and then send them the footages ? If so, should we shoot Log videos ? Or WE shoot Log, then color correct all of it before sending ? And last, we do not edit the video then ?
Well depends on what arrangement you have with that client ! When I shoot BTS I usually shoot in log if I know the person knows how to grade it, s Cinetone workes well too! Same with editing, I don’t edit usually, but I’d suggest trying to to see if your shots are held long enough 👍🏾

Always tryna drop some gems!
Great tips. Especially the aperture tips. I tend to go for more blurred backgrounds but have to remember it's a BTS.
It’s a habit I had to let go of ! Also yes wide shots are awesome 👏🏾 get a mix too!
As always - great practical real-world (like you are speaking from experience!) tips/ideas. Thanks!

Great video. I definitely picked up on a lot of these tips through trial and error of doing BTS over the years.
It’s a tough game at first , but I learned to just treat it like shooting a doc 🙏🏾
@@KofiYeboah Facts. Yea once I picked up on the doc part it mentally made it easier for me because I like doc style stuff
@@ShotByCurt I LOVE that style of BTS

Yeah, man, nice!!! Now, I just have to ask, what's the name of the artist and song on the last half and the end of this video???
I gotta keep track of them 😅
@@KofiYeboah LOL OK, well when you find it, please let me know. Sorry for having you do more work than expected on the BTS, Bro 🙏🏾😁
