Floating vibrato bridge is a system to many people attribute to one element. One thing I have tested is that the bridge makes a much bigger difference than nut or tuners. Locking tuners are convenient but do not improve tuning stability.
This is so awesome! I'm currently waiting on a Suhr I've custom ordered with the same Wilkinson tremolo as the Pete Thorn guitar and this is filling me with hope that it's going to be very stable. I sold a Strat that I loved last year because of how much it slipped when I did string bends.. but if these saddles make it as solid as the PRS I have with a Floyd Rose that would be incredible!! Thanks for the video!
No, that is the standard tremolo that came with the Cort guitar. As long as the locking saddles fit, the rest of the tremolo, including the block is irrelevant…
@@TheTrlabrla I didn’t hear any difference. I suppose if you listen very very carefully, you may perceive a subtle difference. But I didn’t even think about it till you asked this question, that’s how subtle it was / would have been. But the rating in tune part is not at all subtle.
Nice work jay, I was totally oblivious to these. I need these.great vid.

They help
Your tone is wonderful! May I ask what model Cort are you playing in this video and are those the pickups that came in the guitar when you bought it?
Convincing enough 😊

If you don't mind, what cort model is this? I liked the tone of this guitar.
Nice work cheers for sharing
Thanks Samuel - I checked out your UA-cam page, some lovely videos you've put up too :-)
Wilkinson!
Hello! Question for You - is that a Gotoh 510 with a steel block (shallow drilled)? Thanks!

@@menonjay All right, thanks! One more question if I may. Did You percieve any changes in sound when You put the WLS130 on the bridge? Thanks again!
