  • A Brotherhood of St Laurence study that followed a group of children growing up in the Melbourne suburb of Fitzroy has wrapped up after 34 years.

    Researchers studied 167 kids from birth in 1990 to adulthood in order to determine if and how access to resources and support in childhood altered or shaped their opportunities later in life. The study examined issues such as housing, income, health, family structure, language barriers, education and job opportunities.
