A neighbour and friend of mine had a really horrible and terrible experience with Qatar Airways. She was one of the Australian women forced to deplaned so that their vaginas can be checked if they recently gave birth. Why? The stupid Qatar authorities found an abandoned baby dumped in the airport and they decided to search women who happened to just had a stopover in Doha. They were made to spread their legs and a torch/ flashlight was used to search their vaginas like a mechanic doing a routine car service. Unfortunately, for women it is not routine at all but a degrading and humiliating experience. To date, no apology, no compensation and even reaching out to those victims from the Qatari government and Qatar Airways. This is partly the reason when Qatar Airways decided to apply to increase their flight frequencies to Australia was DENIED. I recently flew Qatar airlines on a 13 hour leg to Doha followed by another 16 hour leg and it was the best 29 hours of flight in my fifty years of flying! The planes were modern and in impeccable condition and the whole crew amazing! Always very friendly, professional and accommodating as well as having classy uniforms that were reminiscent of the glory days of airline travel! Still in love with everything aviation. Just so amazing!! Thanks Sam n Qatar Airways for an excellent overview of your giant operations now! All the best! 😍💪💕💖👌
Hello shellavm4023 good to read your comment. So you were with QR - 23 years ago. So was I ...there has been a tremendous change. The old QR office was in the Al Mana tower. Qatar will always be my favorite airline! I was on a 10 hour flight from Dubai to Clark in the Philippines and during the flight it hit my Birthday in air. Now I am nobody, I am in economy at I am literaly in the back seat center of the plane just coming off a 15 hour flight from NY then a 4 hour layover so I am tired . I am about 4 hours from landing in Clark and finally sleep hits me hard and just as I am dozing off I hear people singing happy birthday lol! All the flight attendants were in the back and they had made me a mini birthday cake slice and some fruit to go with it and I was not expecting anything. They were all so nice and friendly and it was really a moment i will never forget!

This is amazing. I flew as a pilot for American Airlines for 31 years and never in my career did we do anything remotely like this routine, even at the big bases like DFW and ORD. Everyone was in one operations area in most places, although we did have separate pilot and F/A ops at JFK due to space limitations. But full crew briefings like this? Not in my career! What we did of that happened on the airplane just before the pax boarded ( I expected to see the pilots at Qatar's briefings m - a bit surprised that they were absent). Loaner uniforms? Come to think of it, there was one time when I was new where a loaner pair of pants would have come in handy. Unbeknownst to me, I had stepped too close to the exhaust pipe when I was loading my Fiat convertible on a sub-freezing morning with the engine already running. The exhaust melted a small hole in the polyester pants (yes, the company-supplied uniform featured polyester back in 1977 - it wasn't just for the disco!). Fortunately, no one noticed and it was a turn-around to a domestic location so I hid on the flight deck most of the time! But this cast-of-thousands crew briefing routine does resemble what we did in the Air Force, in the Military Airlift Command. Our C-5 crew could number as many as a dozen, and we did have a full crew briefing, anchored by the Aircraft Commander. Qatar runs a very professional operation. Small wonder they were eager for you to see it and pass it along to us!
qatar airways is the airlines that i had flight for the first time and it was the most amazing flight experience i ever had.. best flight attendants and best pilots.. smoothest landing ever.. and till this day it is still the best nothing compares..

Sam, personally I am truly thankful for your excellent videos, they are always very well made and always very informative. In this particular video, you have shown the public just how much meticulous work takes place behind the scenes with reputable airlines like Qatar Airways to mention one to make our flights not only as comfortable as possible, but also as safe as possible. As a reasonably frequent flier I have always upheld great respect and courtesy to flight crews, ground crews and operators having always sensed the amount of dedication and work they go through because of us all, I therefore tip my hat to them all in gratitude. Once again thank you so much for the time you take in providing us not only great entertainment, but also educative information, cheers Sam.

I never realized air travel is so complex. When i log in to Flightradar24 and see a lot of aircraft i was wondering how it is controlled. Thousands of aircraft all over the world! Thank you Sam for this behind the scene video. It makes us ordinary people understand aviation better. Looking forward to the next one.
The behind the scenes gives great insight as to why Qatar airlines travel is such an amazing experience!
Aren’t all the airline behind the scenes the same???
No virginal examination Kevin. Obviously.
A lot of effort is put into making everything look easy. After watching this, I think it's okay to give the crew and the airline a pat on the back when things don't go exactly as planned.
These kind of videos to me look like much more interesting than luxurious suites reviews, great Sam you are back on Earth !!!!!!!!
Thanks for giving us an insight of how an airline operates.
It was one of the most interesting content I saw on UA-cam.
I'm not in the industry, but I fly alot due to family and work.
I appreciate all the hard work behind the scenes.
Wow... I am always awestruck of aviation since my QR days (24 yrs ago!!), it's operations and how they synchronize everything seamlessly: booking, crew, routes, baggage, meals, issues... etc...
There were just a handful of old 300 aircrafts including a B-727...old faces, names .Would be nice if we could exchange some old memories
I love how organized they are!! I'll definitely have 100% confidence in this airline.
My family and I will never ever fly Qatar Airways when we go to Europe for our annual holidays.
@@emilio1969that wasn't the airlines fault it was the authorities that made that disgusting decision. Sorry, that happened to your friend.
@@luvghd You are correct but the airline did not even express anything to comfort the passengers involved as if they did not care at all. Even to this day, nothing.
Oh my god, I am feeling so nostalgic rn and so so emotional at the same time. It's been almost 2 yrs since I parted my way to follow my dream but QR is and will always be the most memorable chapter of my life till the day I die!
Thank you for everything QR Family ❤
Thanks so much Sam for compiling this video. QR has such a great reputation around the world. To see how QR operates behind the scenes if awesome. You were lucky to be invited.

My friend works as a flight stewardess in qatar airways. She is living her life, im happy for her 🙏

As an ESL Instructor, I am so amazed that these airline workers from so many different countries communicate in English. It truly is the language of business. Yay!
One aircraft is Like a Flying Factory.❤️ What a No of Works Behind it. ✈️✈️✈️
Travelled on Qatar Airways a week ago....such excellent service❤👍👍my best airline so far.
You wouldn’t be saying this if you were one of the woman, dragged off the plane and raped on the tarmac last year. NEVER TRUST THIS AIRLINE

I like taking Qatar Airways. Their service is 👍. Their cabin crew are very professional but still able to show their human side: friendly and helpful.
Your in Qatar
I love Qatar Airways. One of the best airlines I have flown.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I am a QR ground staff based in Zanzibar, and I appreciate your recognition of our hard work and dedication to ensure you all fly safely and securely around the world. Kudos
@@lutfimazrui5396 thank you and stay blessed always.
Very well organized by Qatar Airways. With so many officers monitoring the aircrafts in air, passengers can definetly get confident in their safety.
These behind the scenes videos are great.
Thank you. I have a playlist call Airlines Uncovered focus on the inner part of the airline industry.

Greetings Sam, it is amazing to see the crews are well dress and equip with their best to serve the passengers. Is a rare chance to see behind the scene. Thanks for showing us. I am amaze how they work as whole team
Qatar airways has made strides in an exceptionally short lifespan. Older carriers still consider Qatar airways a rival to reckon with😊
This is just amazing behind the scenes that few ever get to witness. Thanks for bringing us along Sam!
3 Filipinos! I wasn’t surprised at all. Filipinos are everywhere. Mabuhay kayo kababayan!
Ryt on filipino kabayans…we’re very proud of you😘😘😘
Right it was very much expected to see Indians and Chineese, but filipinos? unbelievable
Thank you Sam for shilling out for Qatar Airways! They are very appreciate and will give you some free first class flights in the future!❤
Cynical much? 🙄
the best airlines in the world. ever aftr i had been working there in Qatar for 7 years as a Nurse. ill always booked i head of time. when im going to my vacation. the ambience of airlines and crue that was fantastic i realy love it. from philippines here❤.
Dress to impress !!! Very nice. The way these ladies dress continues the fine legacy of the Pan Am stewardesses who set such high standards with their style of dress that it carries on today through these lovely women. Carry on ladies !!!
Thanks a lot for sharing this, saw QROC after so many years. I was a part of the team and I really miss every bit and corner of this building. One of the best airlines to work with.
I loved this, the scale of the operation is insane

The longing to become a pilot has always been close to my heart, but circumstances within my family have led me down the path of pursuing a Bachelor's degree in computer science instead. However, watching those pilots at work (1:31) fills my heart with joy 😊
This video really shows the multi-cultural working environment of an international airline, love this atmosphere of diversity.
Yeah ALL CHEAP LABOR..
@@ManoliGreek2640to expensive to hire Qataris lol
I had a cousin work at Qatar airways and she had good times there as a stewardess she retired and she enjoyed traveling the world. We also loved the airline as it was clean and spacious and the food are good too!
I can watch this all day ✈️🛫🛬 more of like this plz 🙏
Love your content as always Saaam....Love Qatar Airways.....truly the best
They will never show you the real backstage ongoings.
As a former flight attendant I can attest to that.
Could you please share your experience..

@@emilio1969 agreed. It was assault and this every one has just glossed over it. The airline has made no effort at all. I won't fly and my husband was platinum before this happened. Absolutely appalling.
@@katk7509 Good decision!
@@emilio1969Surely the airline did the right thing. As imagine someone sadly abandoned a baby.It was hard for all of them i believe. That wouldn't have been a nice experience for any of the parties to do surely.
Sam. As always. Congrats. The best airliner or airline review online channel by far. Your video posts get better and better. You have the knowledge, understanding and respect for what you do that is required and is so appreciated by your followers and also recognized by the industry. This current Backstage series should be shown to all passengers before the safety video so they appreciate what a wonder is is to be in the air! Keep up the great work.
Great video Sam, don't mind the haters. like many others I appreciate these videos. Keep on doing UA-cam your own positive and unique way, we have enough flight reviewers that thrive on negativity.
Hats off to Sam to pull off these amazing videos....
Qatar Airways surely knows how to do marketing and tries to make everyone forget about the bad customer service and how they declined compared to a few years ago...
The crew is looking good the uniform looks sharp. Thankfully there's still one industry keeping the standards high!
Qatar airways is by far the best airline in the world ❤ True hospitality with beautiful culture
I give Sam credit for the video, but also gotta say that it caused a smile on my face as I know of another UA-camr who got banned from Qatar Airways not long ago. Cust a coincidence? Makes me hard to believe 😂
Got my QR cabin crew interview next week, amazing to see how everything is done in Doha 😍 Thank you Sam!
Hope it all went well Leroy, blessings to you!
@@heyhaze6850 Thanks for asking! Unfortunately I didn’t get the job with Qatar but I got hired by Etihad 2 days ago so I’m in the clouds right now 🥰
How'd it go??
Breathtaking stuff, this should be SOP for every major airline worldwide. Somehow, I just don't see US carriers being anywhere near this standard of excellence.
This was one of the best videos so far Sam. Really enjoyed it. Thank you :)
Great video Sam! Nice to see what happens behind the scene.
Great job, Sam! I like the idea of introducing the industry series, gave us a picture from inside out. Only YOU can make this kind of films. 👏👏👏
I work for an American Airline and I'm jealous of Qatar, They are top notch!
Frequentis A-CDM is really amazing! Thanks for the behind the scenes tour Qatar Airways.
Indeed QR, Going Places Together. Thanks Sam for the insightful behind the scenes.
Do not forget me and I’m from Doha. It’s like the smallest country I think and my age is seven years old. I’m gonna turn eight. Like I said some of my siblings like your videos, but I like your videos a lot. That’s why I watch them every day. Thank you.😊

It is so cool to know behind the scenes of the aircraft operation. Thank you Sam for your hard work to get the the approval from Quantar airway to do this for your viewers.
Qatar airline is the absolute best because they are consistent across the board
Ab initio soon, cant wait to be part of such excellence!
Oh good luck! See you on board soon!
Good luck 😊. Where are you from?
Sam, thank you for this video and showing how the work is going on Qatar! I am so happy that this Purser will never have the power over me! The second purser is not the most clever one, either, obviously.

Such a good video Sam, keep up the effort on the aviation videos
Nice to see Filipinos! Comment here kung pinoy ka ❣️
I love that the flight attendants all have their hair up. They look so much more professional and put together than the western counter-parts.
Only American Airlines let you wear hair down, not anywhere else, especially not in Europe…… I agree; looks so smart up…..
Like most of us , we travel as passengers , It was so interesting to see what goes on behind. Have seen many many Sam Chui videos. This was really interesting it shows, the combined effort of so many persons in so many fields and all behind the scene activities. Thanks
Whenever I feel bored watching sam's videos makes me so entertained! Keep it up❤
Thanks for posting this video. Really miss my flying days in QR
