Hey Troy nice video and watch. You can't go wrong with a Citizen a way underrated brand for sure! I own 4 of them. Blue Angel's and Ecozilla are my favorite out of 4 I own.
That’s a classic right there. I like the color contrast of the blue dial and brown strap...a combo I wouldn’t have thought of. That crown is very practical and good looking to boot! Nice lume, and I noticed the seconds hand appeared to be hitting all the markers! Solid.
Hey Witt, I got this for the channel because it was cheap, but I'm very surprised by this, the dial the design, how it wears it impressed me so much. And a bonus that the markers hit, that's two Citizens for me.

As I've mentioned before I've always struggled to "love" Citizen but usually had their chrono's & divers & I've always gravitated to seiko for those maybe I've been looking at the wrong types of Citizen I'm very tempted now to try one of these. Fine video Troy. Beautiful watch and in a style I really enjoy. I don´t have an EcoDrive, but I know a few people who do and they last forever. They also enjoy their Citizens a lot. Seems to me Citizen doesn't get much reviewer love, but the people who own them, at least in my experience, love them.
Hey Marcelo, it's true Citizen don't really get the love say compared to a Seiko or Casio, maybe I can change that I've been happy with the 3 I have had and certainly the two Eco Drives have surprised me, such a great quartz movement.
@@thebaldwatchcollector I am from Ukraine. I have searched on Amazon, ebay, local online stores, everywhere, no luck. I think, dial, hands, lume and case on BM8471-19L simply the best, from all eco drive models I have seen online. It is so clean, easy to read and stylish. 😌

If Citizen had made custom day/date dials (more towards the perimeter and LARGER), this watch could have been a massive seller.
Great review, I have the BM6838-33L Flieger and absolutely love it. It's similar to that model except it only has a date complication.

Honestly Adrian, for this price I certainly recommend it, under £80.00 for this. It's much better in the flesh than the images show.

I hope you do. I confess to being a bit of a Casio fan, and Seiko rarely does it for me. I tend to lilke Citizen more than Seiko. Orient too.
Personally I agree, Eco drive is very cool. I have one and enjoy having the grab and go solar. This one is a nice pilot style piece. Enjoy it 😊👊

It's pretty hard to find here in the UK also, but looking about I believe some Citizens are exclusive to Germany. Thank you for watching.
