Good morning Tim. Brilliant project for the treadle hammer. Cant wait to see you make some tooling. So so good to have you back with your inspirational videos. Keep safe and best wishes to you and yours for Christmas. David.
Greetings from New Zealand!! Beautiful job on that axe Tim. Wow!! After using the treadle hammer and grinding stone you must have legs like Thor himself. Haha. Love your work!!! Great channel!!! I hope you and your family are staying safe during this time.
It is amazing how carying rebar can be in carbon content. I had one liece tvat would crack and crumble(maney sulfur content too high or phosphorus) i cut that piece off and tbe rest forged nice and water quenched decently hard not good blade hard but better than mild steel. Great stuff to practice on.
Hi Tim. Another excellent video. I'm glad to see you had time to give us another glimpse into your shop. Hope all is going well for you and I will patiently wait for another vid sometime in the future!
I would love to see you tackle a big hewing axe in the manner of Joey. Or maybe a Damascus Dane axe with a wrought iron & cable/spring steel body and an Allen wrench bit. You seem to enjoy making pattern welded billets more than anyone I've seen. Good to see your work, as always.
Glad to see a video from you Father Tim, we talked about you this morning in church. I hope you are doing okay, and I hope that you had a Happy thanksgiving.
Nice to see someone using anthracite besides me. I can't find soft coal locally at any sizeable consideration. I love the way it burns but you certainly need some air for sure.
@@BIGDOGFORGE I really like how you explain everything you work on and your process. Also, your tools and expertise in using them is impressive. Good on ya!! You should be proud
thankyou Big Dog Forge ! Just wundren about the anthricite coal. Do you use pea-size or nut sz. and also does it provide a much cleaner fire for welding temperatures? Thanks from Pennsylvania. p.s. hope tp see more stuff, you sure know your onions!
