I reported the seller the second I read the description. It didn't even have a GPU in it. So one must ask, how can it be K anything let along 12k which doesn't even exist. Considering the drop in GPU gouging... I mean pricing, and the CPU being 2.5 generations old, I would think half that price would be a good deal.
      1600 CAD is about $1250 in real money, and I wouldn't pay more than $700 for this. In fact, I bought an HP "gaming PC" for my GF from Wal-Mart with a 1660 and R5 3600 a little over a year ago for around $750. Admittedly, that came with bloatware that had to be cleansed, a HDD instead of an SSD, and the form factor is about 3x the size. Still, the CPU and GPU are more capable, and it was bought during the GPU drought.

    12:40 you actually need to enable them into deeper options
    in the NVIDIA control panel, in the 3D settings, there is a DSR - Factors option, that allows you to enable or disable whatever you want, the DL options are just more optimized than the others

    • @Dorraj
      @Dorraj 2 роки тому +3

      No, the DL options are DLDSR, which takes the tech of DLSS and does it the opposite way; by taking a higher resolution and downsampling it to your monitor, with the AI tech of DLSS. They aren't "optimized" they are completely different in how they scale.

    Outside of the marketing I was rooting for the little PC, looked like one of the better small factor builds if your excuse the single channel ram, however I then saw the price. Regardless of the better build with a better cooler and ventilation, plus the best (reasonable priced) low profile GPU it just a usual PC ripoff :(

    i bought a display port to hdmi 2.1 converter to run a computer (with an rtx 2070 super) on an 8k tv. it did work and gave me 8k 60. it was about $50. Running any game at 8k was still crap though and even running videos at 8k 60 is pretty hard.

      @@Davenlr update: 8k 60 youtube runs great on an intel 13700k and RTX 3070. Its mostly the 3070 that does it. Turns out the 3000 series gpus have hardware AV1 decode which is what youtube is using these days for its high end videos (or maybe all of them). Just wanted to jump back in and tell you that works. Not sure if a 3060 would work. It uses about 70% of the GPU video decode on the 3070 when running 8k 60.

    when Dawid said there was a cpu or memory bottleneck for the gtx 1650 it was actually power draw as a pcie slot can only output 75 watts and it was hovering dangerously close to that. there was no supplemental power so it had to slow itself down as the power management ic detected dangerous power draw, so it left 5 watts for safety reasons to do with power spikes.
