I just made this and my wife and kid's can't believe that I made it 😂 They think I purchased it and now they want to know from where I brought it. 🤣. Cool recipe. Keep posting. I have become your fan.
I made this for dinner and my boyfriend said it was PERFECT. I added 1/2 a tablespoon of "The Last Dab: Apollo" hot sauce in the soy sauce mixture and doubled the amount of ginger. Thank you for this delicious and easy recipe.
This has got to be the easiest way I've learned to make a fantastic plate that I thought I should be a cook to make it. THANK YOU for making it so simple and delecious.
Absolutely delicious! I added a tablespoon of garlic chilies, to the sauce, for a bit of heat. I used less flour for my 1 lb of thin sliced steak- stir fried in about 3 tbsp of oil- Very tasty delicious and so easy to make!
Made this tonight for dinner. Doubled the sauce and added carrots, mushrooms, green peppers along with the spring onions. Made chicken and beef. Very tasty. Will do again. The sauce is 👍
Made this a few nights ago it's my fiance's favorite dish at Pf Chang's so I wanted to make it for him he loved it!!!!!! Thanks for this recipe!!!the restaurant cost of this dish is so expensive when we go out to eat!!!! Will be making this again
Went to a restaurant in Sedona, AZ and had some delicious Mongolian Beef. Been trying to find a recipe as close to that as I could and this one is a home run! Now I can have restaurant style Mongolian Beef at home!
Thank you for your lovely comment. People are commenting about PF Chang's dish. I never mentioned it was PF Chang's recipe. I said PF CHANG STYLE. I always buy this from Chang's and wanted to create my own which would taste as good as Chang's. I guarantee its not the same but very close.
Why would a Chinese restaurant make good Mongolian Beef? It isn't Chinese! There's a clue in the name, although it isn't Mongolian, either. It's American via Taiwan.
It looks easy to make, unfortunately I don’t have the hoisin sauce now, and what was that small shredded thing you’ve added after the garlic slices? Was that a limon skin? Definitely going to try this recipe ASAP 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@@dilzkitchen1406 I will try it next week with chicken and will keep you informed too. Beef ist not beef - I live in europe and we have different cuts. So it would be helpfull to know the cuts.
@@dilzkitchen1406 Tried it out with chicken. Works fine for me but with a little less of sugar as chicken tastes "sweeter" than beef. BTW - marinade the beef/chicken just a few minutes before cooking. Otherwise it will glue.
How much ginger did you put in? Can we dice the ginger instead of slicing it like you did? I also wanted to add broccoli florets to this can you advise when would I add them? And by you saying corn Flour do you mean Corn starch?? Did you use Vegetable Oil to cook beef in? Sorry for all of these questions it’s just that I saw this recipe elsewhere but I couldn’t follow it exactly as I’m more of a visual type of person.
@@dilzkitchen1406 I actually made this the other day, and it came out fantastic. I bought some very thin sliced meat and sliced it perfectly, added corn starch to the meat, and followed the recipe. It was delicious. I can't wait to make it again. Thank you.
Update, I got all of the ingredients, watched the video 4 times and then made it happen today! It turned out awesome. Kids and family loved it. I think my wife loved the fact that I was cooking dinner the most. Win! It took me about 50 minutes total from prep to dinner plate.
In the USA we differentiate between corn starch (pretty sure that is what you are using) and corn flour. Corn starch is the light powdery stuff made from the endosperm of the corn kernel used to thicken sauces; corn flour is the whole kernel used to make tortilas or bread. I don't think corn flour is used much in the UK and what is called corn flour there is actually corn starch. Anyway the distinction is important - this recipe is delicious but not so much if made with corn flour ;-)
@@katieevans6017 I was confused by this too. As a Hispanic, I saw corn flour and thought, “isn’t that for tortillas?” Lol. Good to know it is in fact, corn starch. So you’re saying that in the UK, you call corn starch, corn flour?
