Man hasbro definitely rushed out the three pack just to compete with Figuarts, knowing full well that they’d do another release like this. Absolutely devious.
Which is completely dumb cus the people that don't buy imports wouldva 100% sold them out immediately
the new ones look decent, but MJ and matt murdock kinda feel like a waste of space, we could have gotten electro and lizard. matt apeared for like a total of 7 minutes and MJ should have been in like a 2 pack or something.

That's not even taking into account that they STILL haven't updated their awful suited body. They've been reusing it for the better part of a decade, and it's always sucked.
Yh I think they should of done mj and the final swing suit as a two pack to make the final swing suit feel more special or exclusive

It's stupid that Hasbro Removed the extra hands from Tobey and Andrew making the three pack more of a scam than it originally was.
And it's also weird that they're using the licenses from the movies but I think it's because they're mainly focusing on the comics and any new movies out at the time, which sucks cuz I would love to have some variety like the X-Men movie figures they did.
I wish Neca had the walking dead or Mortal Kombat Licenses, love their horror stuff and think they’d have some sick accessories

Which sucks because I'm a hardcore TWD fan - but I love the comics a million times more than the show. NYCC should have more info on the comic figures according to Diamond Select. There may be a Gallery Rick too - because there is a Galley Michonne on the way.
McFarlane Toys doesn’t seem to know what to do with the MK license, so yeah just hand it to NECA at this point

I do wish we got a moderized version of the original Green Goblin tho, because we did see him in the movie in 2 scenes. A broken mask and a scared Norman face would've absolutely made the figure worth it
For a proper movie 1 Green Goblin we would also need a remolded glider. Notice how it's missing the purple bat wings look?

@@mr.marvel3643 I'll get Green Goblin, Doc Ock on Tobey, even though he's objectively the worst out of the 3 Spideys. I never owned a single figure from the Raimi trilogy and I can't afford to spend 90$ for the SH Figuarts, so for the moment this one will have to do as my first ever Tobey figure

Well, Tom Holland is only 5'6 - 5'7 and as someone who's that height, we do look significantly shorter than most people even if we're only off by 3 or 4 inches

I mean... 3/4 inches = 7.62 and 10.16 centimeters so it's normal that the difference is visible. It's just your measurement system that sucks.

We need a full Marvel Legacy line for non-MCU movie characters. Raimiverse figs, more SSU figs, Wesley Snipes Blade, Webbverse figs, Thomas Jane Punisher, Ray Stevenson Punisher, 2003 Hulk, Daredevil 2003 and Elektra 2005, 2005-2007 Fantastic Four, and maybe even Fant4stic figs. It’ll give collectors one Helluva multiverse shelf

Man I can't wait to get that Green Goblin, sucks that the new rereleases lack some hands but atleast they aren't a hundred bucks 💀💀💀
Maybe it’s cause I’m more of a casual person who doesn’t really get into the whole collecting thing (love you’re content all the same) but I actually like the final swing Tom figure. It could totally pass off as a comic Spider-Man, and it actually comes with full sets of hands unlike Tobey and Andrew so for me that’s the most interesting outta the whole wave.
Great video as always. Here are my thoughts on the NWH wave-
1)The team saying the figures in the 3 pack costing 30 bucks a pop because of the difficulty to paint raised webbings was all horseshit, these standard releases come cost less. Baiting your customers is a lame tactic.
2)I had the exact thoughts seeing the final swing suit, physique wise it reminded me of the Diamond Select one from Homecoming.
3)I find it odd how Ock and Goblin both are Deluxe releases yet Goblin costs 10 bucks more than Ock. Goblin's body suffers from that ugly marble-y plastic look, and he comes with the Goblin helmet(which I initially liked being included), which wasn't necessary, since he didn't have it with the new suit, but the issue is that the neck's skin tone will be exposed even with the new helmet. It's like a half assed thing to do. I don't think that great Dafoe headsculpt and the Raimi Goblin helmet are enough to justify the 50 USD price(even with the glider) when these issues prevail. Ock is good though, but missing the golden paint apps on the tentacles.

@@tallietorchersproductions2740 Yeah they always do the same shit when taking promo pictures for Transformers, they pose the figure so you can't see things that the customer might consider annoyances or even dealbreakers. Thank God for UA-cam reviewers
Doc Ock is based on the No Way Home design despite what the package says.
Look at the glasses, the hair cut, the turtleneck and most importantly the sculpt of the tentacles: their texture looks busier than it should be because they also sculpted the nanotechnology from Tom' suit, but they of course "forgot" to paint them red to cut costs. This time I don't mind the absence of paint though, I never liked the red tentacles much and this way you can pretend they're the Spider-Man 2 ones instead. I might add some yellow paint when I get the figure
@@fabiomura08 i know it's based on no way home...he had the gold in no way home as well...and after the nanotech bits got added he got the red parts, neither gold not red is there on this figure, the cost cutting factor is a lame excuse, it's just the company being lazy.
my main issue with revoltech is the plastic gets sticky overtime, faster than other toy

My only problem with the Doc Ock is that the tentacles have the nano-tech sculpted but not colored
The tentacles are also based on concept art, not from the movie.
@@gabrielsato3764 I know but it is still inaccurate to the movie --I get that Hasbro used concept images but that doesn't make the tentacles' inaccuracy annoy me any less. My problem is not with the design team --it is just with how the timing of the the manufacturing caused this inaccuracy.

Dock ock from Spiderman 2 by them was alright head sculpt looks a little strange w the glasses but solid figure minus zerrrroooo articulation for the claws on the arms😢but the arms are solid

I bought Matt Murdock and Last Stand Spidey…. I couldn’t help myself. I love Matt and Last Stand is one of if not my favorite suit
I knew the 3 pack would be a scam so I was waiting for the individual releases.
Even with that, I prefer my toybiz Raimi spidey and my mafex TASM 2 spidey, figures that have attention to detail and good color schemes mostly
Unfortunately a lot of people didn't get the chance to get the mafex (me cus I was 15 xD) and a lot of other people don't like the idea of spending 100+ dollars on imports. So for what they are... Andrew and Tom are fine. Tobey was their money maker and they fumbled the bag so hard.
What about SHF Tobey and Andrew?

Hasbro is on auto pilot all the way to the bottom. Wizards of the Coast is falling appart after a dozen scandals (remember when they sent out the Pinkertons to hurass a UA-camr?),
They are being beaten at their own game in Masterpiece transformers (check out the top 10 releases of the last ten years, that list will be DOMINATED by third party transfomers) and starwars/marvel ultimates are collecting dust on a shelf.
Spider-Man is ALL they have left and they are intent on dragging that down as well.
Well this sucks, you do not know how pissed I am that Hasbro did this. Why on earth would Hasbro give the completely new figure all of the hands, when they could just reuse them from the 3 pack??!! Maybe get rid of that terrible MJ fig from the line so we can get the hands, because apparently an entire figure is worth 4 hands

Doc Ock looks almost great for me, but honestly, seeing that the tentacles have the NWH nanotech details but just... unpainted.... kinda soured me on getting the figure. Yeah it's a minor thing, but also, c'mon, they're totally reusing this mold again, it's Marvel Legends. I'd rather wait a couple years for them to rerelease it with proper tentacles than to spend 40 bones RIGHT NOW, ykno?
And then Green Goblin is fantastic, honestly; if you like the NWH costume then it should be a must-buy. That said, seeing Doc Ock use the Spider-Man 2 branding, and seeing how much effort was poured into this Goblin? Oh, they're guaranteed to rerelease this boy with the clean original-film costume. There's 0 chance they won't. And as someone who doesn't want both minor variations, I'd rather just wait for the version I prefer, that being the SM1 costume. Again though, I know many people think the NWH one is even better, and I like it too, so if there's any figure to get here then it's definitely that NWH Gobby for them.

That's what I was thinking as well. The new Hot Toys has the Andrew head, but is being branded as a TASM 2 figure. Something with license must be preventing them from using Andrew's likeness with any NWH products.

If I were to buy any of the villains it would be green goblin, it looks beautiful, the gliders great, and the addition of the helmet head sculpt is amazing since I really do love the helmet. Out of the Spider-Men it would definitely be Andrew Garfield, any others are pretty expensive, I’ve already got the figuarts Tobey, also I like the look of him anyway, it’s a great suit design. Even though he’s clearly not as good as the figuarts, I still think it would be a good addition, the packaging is really nice too, branded as TASM 2 which makes me feel a bit warm and fuzzy inside, and it’s not windowless. Doc ock is pretty awesome as well, after all these years there’s finally another Alfred Molina doc ock, and it’s branded as Spider-Man 2, even though he’s clearly from no way home. A few are good, most are bad.
I said the same thing. Looks like the marvel select. The figure was sculpted by the same person who sculpted the 3 Tom Holland marvel select figures. Interesting choice by hasbro but it looks cool.
