@@SpiderGuyy I like all the figures I buy but once I lose their accessory. It’s like they lost a little of their identity. I’m totally going to buy that revoltech Spider-Man!
One thing thing that excites me about Kaiyodo is that they didn’t just repaint any of their Spider-man figures into a black suit version, which makes me think they plan to make a wholly separate figure for the guy. There’s an amount of artistic integrity to that, because there’s a lot of interesting things you can do with a unique black suit design. Agent Venom from them looks stunning. The aesthetic is right up my alley.
With figures like these, where all of the details are sculpted into the plastic instead of only painted on, you can't simply repaint them anyway since the comic black suit has no web pattern like the red and blue suit does. If they ever do a black suit version that would be awesome.
And boy did they cooked with Agent Venom 🤩. The only problem was the qc issues that most people have with the figure. Unfortunately I’m also in most people.
Yeah these look good in dynamic poses but if he's just standing normally it looks awkward. I have the carnage and he looks way better in an action pose
I don't have a problem with Spider-Man, a character who's doing crazy gymnastics and ninja moves all the time, having incredibly muscular thicc thighs considering the legs contribute to his huge jumps or running across walls.
@@galanga21890 I guess? But Spider-Man has always been pretty buff even as a teen. "You might as well get a statue" is what I think of every time an action figure sacrifices articulation for sculpt, and everyone who's built a model kit or handled figures with interchangeable small parts is familiar with the dreaded Carpet Dimension. The loose knee can be mitigated by wrapping the ball joint in a little bit of grocery store bag, thickening it with acrylic paint (will wear off and need to be re-applied) or a coat of super glue (wait for it to dry before putting it back in, might need sanding if it's too thick).
That was the case for Ps4 spiderman The Sculpt was great for everything and then they botched up The arm movement with limited articulation and a loose azz arm

I'm legit 50-50 on the fence about this figure. Not a huge fan of the SA mark 4 design and I've never really been much of a revoltech fan, but it DOES look way better than the old style. If it'd been a classic Spidey, I'd be on deck. Sik
I have the exact same opinion on figures as you. The most important thing, what defines an action figure - is the articulation. The looks and accessories are also important, but the main thing, that differentiates an action figure from a statue is the fact that you can move it around how you please
What I love with action figures is you can make them in any pose you want (depending on numbers of articulation) but with statues is you can't do that (obviously)
Revoltech Spiderman 2.0 have the best articulation and design, but my main problem with the figure is the leg keeps popping out from the knee when bending it
You can fix the leg issue by adding some super glue and twisting it till it dries. Its an extremely common issue and this method 100% solves it. Mine hasn’t fallen once since i did it
I own the Yamaguchi Deadpool 2.0 and he’s perfect, gotta be THE best Deadpool figure ever made, this review made me want this guy as well, great video!
Yeah, revoltech can be a lil weird when it comes to legs or parts falling off. My Deku’s left leg always pops off, and the figure’s waist overall is very loose. It can be very frustrating. Brilliant pieces of engineering tho

I've always looked at it like a triangle. Accuracy / Articulation / Cost. You pick 2 and the 3rd goes out the window. You want it to be super posable, and not cost a lot, then it won't look real bc of all the joints. Want it to look real and pose? Then the price will skyrocket.
