hi im a teenager from norway, i just got my E61 530d and ive noticed some wtaer in the area above the battery and im gonna check the drainage now thank you
Well worth taking a look Deniss, there are modules under the spare wheel that don't like getting wet. When you perform the test make sure the water goes into the outer channel, and have a towel or something laid in the rear if required!
Does f11 have similar drainage system? I just got an f11 528i n53 and i noticed right side front and rear were full of water, AND left side front and rear were aswell but way less? I already used an vacuum water exctrator from Karcher to drain it all like 5Litres of water coming.
@@17genc I don't know if the F11 is the same, it would be well worth taking a look to see under the boot floor. I would not be surprised if they are very similar. Opening the drain holes should ensure the water can't collect there.
Well Done!
I'm glad to see your back. I'm building an MGA vintage racer and have MGB that I tinker with. Your videos are wonderful.
Hi from Gianfranco in Canada as always your fix tips are spot on! Good luck Brian with MGA (and B)build ! Cheers! from this side of the Pond.
