Just just Spirit Mari, Spirit Sunny can access to Mari’s headspace. (Because I think Spirit Mari was the one talking to Omori/Sunny in the window scene)
Sunny tries to make his last moments before death not sound so painful so the others won’t be so sad (but they obviously can’t hear him but it’s a sad thought to think about)
Sunny wants his friends to forgive themselves since it was none of their faults
Sunny being like 12 years old isn’t the one who helps Mari move on. Mari is actually the one who helps Sunny PASS on since he wasn’t at peace. Knowing how all his friends took his death ..and Mari knowing that Sunny’s at peace helps her move on.
