Concentrating current is fun in everything…jk..I love it in ancient gears after I make megaton golem. 7,800 piercing and they can’t activate magic or traps 🤩🤩🤩🥳🥳

Gimmick puppets have 1 major flaw, that still isn't even adressed in the real tcg and that is their unability to do anything going first. Quite sad, because it is my favorit Zexal era deck 😖

I was like okay fair enough, and then I played the card and didn't realize that it had an effect that if a normal monster swung in you could banish. What you get a free dark condition by detaching and you can banish and if you have circle out you can banish again the fuck???
mm had a good play with it, it certainly enables a few more lethals, but usually if you've got 2 lvl 7s on the field you're winning anyway. Doesn't really solve the meh consistency they now have, which is the main issue.

if you play a version with the gazers and have the "pendulum gazers" skill then you could run that in order to potentially grab a card from your extra deck into your hand so you can get off an xyz if you couldn't using just your hand and the 1 extra deck summons
I play Melodious with Zuzu for the character dialogue with the cards. Kind of sad that the only support it got from the box was 1 fusion but silver lining is that Zuzu has some skills that support Melodious a little and a hand trap.

Pend Shuffle might be a really good skill here if you're opponent messes with your scales and now you have a mismatch . Sky Iris also fixes it but thinking is hard
try the gadget pend deck, that one is very consistent because it uses searchable scales (u use tenki, fossil dig and painful decision to search them) summon a bunch of gadgets and u have decent turns 1 and 2 but i don't use ether in it because it doesnt synergize whit the gadgets

Ideally you want to keep waiting. But if you want to play meta start with Gaia or harpies if you really like d/d/d you can go with them but only after you see what the box looks like
Its not consistent, entirely, but I've been running pendulum Dank Magicians in the lower ranks. Been using one of Yuyas skills that doesn't check ex deck, but requires 9 odd-eyes/magician pens/percormapals to give you the extra pen zones. Plus a standard dm core + ebon magician otk fairly fun
Okay, am I missing something here? I just got starting with this new Arc-V stuff, but how do you open up the pendulum zones above your extra deck and main deck so that your trap and magic zones remain open. Is it a skill or just playing the new zone more?

Trying a magician pend deck similar to this one today - quite fun, got from gold to legend with it, and the backrow doesn't matter cuz you're running 18ish monsters in the deck anyway. plus there's skills that add pend zones if they're needed in the future for decks.

Zuzu has a level up reward that gives you an 8 scale if you don't want to buy the structure deck for the scale 8 Magician.

Only normal spellcasters so it combos well with DM. You're either winning more or getting horribly disrupted that it costs you the duel.
