Its the best guess I could muster. That seems like a waste of time and energy. Apparently, I need to go tell Corvus's sons to get off their asses and go do their jobs.
It should be noted after the great rift happened Chaos ATTEMPTED to invade Catachan... the regiments and the local flora and fauna had already routed the invasion before assistance arrived.
Vulkan was actually fighting da ork known as The Beast during The War of the Beast, and (as mentioned in the main episode with Magnus, Kitten, and the salamander) died in an explosion alongside it
If you are unaware Xero, Vulkan was last seen in the 32 millennium, battling the Beast and LITERALLY suplexed it into what was effectively a nuclear reactor for WAAAGH energy, resulting in a gargantuan explosion.
19:48 He did not say SCROPIONS, he said SCORPIPEDES. Imagine a centipede with pincers and a massive stinger for a tail, then make it the size of roughly a Leman Russ and you have the Catachan Scorpipede. Coincidentally, they are found across the galaxy. Its just that the first huge ones were found on Catachan. Gladius, the warhammer civ-like, has them as neutral mobs.
Raven Guard are a very underated chapter along with Primarch Corvus. It be cool to see you do a deep dive on them. Corvus atm is a warp entity and last we seen he was harassing Lorgar.
Vulkan is a big boy, according to lore about 10 feet 9 inches, so roughly 328 cm. Also, Space Marines are recruiting the baddest and hardest children, about 12 years old is the best age (10-14 is stated as an acceptable a range).
The 19-day vigil is probably because the Raven Guard is the 19th legion of the original 20.

Yeah that planet is probably the most inhospitable planet in the imperium that isnt a daemon world

"MAGNUS THE RED!"
*look at this cookie i found...*
Pretty sure that's the Bricky Space Marine legion vid. But yea Vulkan is FUCKIN BIG
Vulcan is definitively the tallest of the Primarchs. Bulk-wise the ones in Terminator armour are probably bigger.
By the way, the Catachan Barking Toad actually exists in Warhammer 40k!
Awesome! I thought it was just a bit. Does the toad actually do what was featured here in this episode?
@@TheLegitWeebs yep, they detonate in a poisonous cloud
Catachan wildlife is wild
Nice to see that you always try to learn more 40k lore Xero.
Always try my best to absorb and retain as much as possible.
I believe Sly has earned The Star of Terra 5 or 6 times.
After finishing this series, I recommend watching the helsreach movie
Has anyone told Xero about fate of the Alfa legion, specificity part 3?
