Hey majorkill i think you should do a video on ranking the primarchs on importance! Like there’s videos about who’s stronger or who’s got the best powers but not which one is super important!!
They are representations of: Action/Activity. Change/Ambition. Passion/Satisfaction. Life/Growth. They are shaped by every sapient being with a sould! Now pass those through the things through the minds of the average resident that has to suffer from, deal with, and participate in constant wars and genocides... and VOILA You get the chaos gods!
Ive followed this channel since 2018 and its so good to see it get better and better, with new fans coming to warhammer this channel should go to the stratosphere where it belongs
F-ing AWESOME! The God Emperor really DID light Nurgle's Garden on fire! That is SO good! I heard from somewhere that he did so with Guilliman! DUDE! I got to get that Plague Wars book! Hopefully it's on Audible!
Technically “no chemicals” would be false even if it was just normal air due to the definition of chemical being literally anything made of atoms of differing elements. The point gets across perfectly fine without the need to be pedantic.
A video on how things would change if the Chaos Gods were defined more by their positive traits than their negative ones would be kinda neat. Either a singular Chaos God or all four of them (Five if you can put a positive spin on Malal) Heck, even just choosing when this change happens would probably get a few videos if you break it up.
Timmy is back😂 This vid reminds me of weshammers april fools vid about how the chaos gods are the good guys. I really dig the idea that chaos is just a reflection of ourselves
Been saying this for years, to the point I can't remember if I learned it from Majorkill or not. But, "The Chaos Gods are nothing but accidents the Warp happened to vomit out when all the true powers of the galaxy were looking the other way." Their affecting things *before* the War in Heaven doesn't change this. Time is mutable in the Warp after all. And by their own rules, peace in the galaxy WOULD unmake them. Every terrible decision from every character makes sense when you realize these four would be doing EVERYTHING they could at all times to prevent that. Chaos is simultaneously the most powerful, and weakest possible, faction in the setting. I wish more lore would explore that.
ATTEMPT 69: A video about, what if there were no loyalist elements in the traitor legions, this would also count for omegon and magnus. So there would be no need for the culling at isthvaan and weakening of the traitor forces. Giving the traitors a boost in numbers and cohesion, plus a lot of important named characters. it would be very intresting to see what all the effects would be on the possible succes of the heresy.
I imagine The growth of chaos as a fourth dimensional pond of oil in the sea. With time being the character creator slider. Always being there, but not always the same shape.
Love the video, but I am curious to learn if there's anything that you think could be a strong enough tether to bring one of the chaos gods into the material universe.
Really like the Chaos Gods as definitions of gods. They feel far more abstract and wide scopped then Mytholgoy gods that is close to been a powerful super human then a god.
I usually catch these videos as soon as they're uploaded, so sorry for being late to contribute to the algorithm with a comment, but I do want to give my 2 cents Tzeentch will never be honest with you, Tzeentch demands your sanity Slaneesh will never restrain you, but it demands your soul Khorne will never lie to you, but he demands your humanity Nurgle will always tell the truth, but he demands your pain Just my 2 cents. Nurgle is forever Grandpapa Nurgle, the chaos god I want to see redeemed most.
I prefer the version where they manifested from the aftermath of the War in Heaven. Still tied the settings’ massive fuckup to the big war, kind of showing how the cataclysm of 60 million years ago sowed the seeds for what would become the Great Game and Horus Heresy. Personally as much as I respect Fabius stance against them, I don’t think it’s objectively true so much as something he needs to believe to be true. While they are naturally inclined to act in such ways as what empowers them which is in part based on the perception of them, the Horus Heresy showed that they could restrain themselves and act objectively when needed. They are capable of reigning it in if it suits their purpose, they are also capable of whim and caprice. They have just enough wherewithal to act as they must when the Great Game is threatened but otherwise maintain their holding pattern of the Game.
@@christiandauz3742 What’s your point? I’m not saying that’s not the canon right now, I just said I prefer the one that came before it. Secondly I dislike the idea of the Necrontyr and Aeldari having some kind of truce way back when, it spoils their ‘bitter ancient rivals’ dynamic in the present setting and shoehorns in Chaos into yet another plot point where it adds nothing. It’s already got the Horus Heresy and the last 10,000 years of the Long War/ Black Crusades and Great Rift to its credit, let the other threats have a background event to themselves. Chaos being a reflection of a galaxy in strife for 60 million years because of the ancient races makes more sense than just saying it was always there.
@@Aberinkula9 I knew someone would claim that. But if you think about it, for these gods to have come out stronger than good gods that means over 50% of humans are being evil to each other. I know 40k is grim dark but in the books every other human isn't being evil, it's actually a fairly low percentage. I can't speak for Brazil myself, but I'd be willing to bet that over 50% of the total population isn't made up of violent criminals.
@@Aberinkula9 So according to Wikipedia, the homicide rate in Brazil is about 23 per 100,000 people. Which I guess means around 99.9% of your population are not considering murdering anyone. In general, most people are not actually violent or aggressive, which makes it unlikely that evil thoughts would be able to overwhelm the good ones to produce these evil gods.
@@xTheZapper First of: evil is not only manifested through violent acts between people. Dishonesty and general corruption can be seen in its effects through indirect and "non-concrete" consequences. THAT is the case of Brazil, for instance. And in the case of WH40K, planets like Terra itself, Necromunda, Birmingham, Cretacea, Baal, the ones in the Ghoul Stars and those ruled in the shadows by the Howling Griffons, for instance, are riddled with violence, opression and misery among the very people. Yes, there are "OK" planets (nothing compared with T'au planets and Aeldari's Craftworlds) and Pleasure Planets, but these are the minority. Oh, and the Ecclesiarchy and the Inquisition have a tight grip with an iron hand (no pun intended) to watch over and hunt other gods that are not Big E. The only good God in WH40k is Isha and Nurgle kidnapped her thousands and thousands of years ago. So no, there are no good Gods - and the Emperor is not a full god yet.
@@xTheZapper We have, more or less, a "stable" (if that deserves to be called "stable") death index of 45.000 per year due violent reasons here in Brazil - along with other forms of death that are high. And as I said previously, other forms of evil plague our country due the general corruption of the people here. If that was not the case, we would have been already a first class country CENTURIES ago. You would need to know Portuguese in order to see better the studies HERE in Brazil about how violent and corrupt people here is. We are NOT a nice country with nice people and if another brazilian tell you it is, trust me, he wants to mislead you at minimum.

What I really like with Majorkill at handling Warp-related topics is he keep emphasized Games Workshop's constant retcons about The Warp and frequent exaggerations with it, that makes digging Warhammer 40K borderline insufferable especially to powerscalers that think Warhammer 40K is the most overpowered settings (especially at misinforming newbies), therefore brushing the more interesting dynamics of how Warp gods works in delicate cycles of ups and downs (including gods of order, gods of chaos, neutral-aligned gods to Galaxy-ending threat like Hivemind's "Shadow in The Warp"), with Emperor as turning point that can shakes things up as so far being the only Warp entity that can permanently shedding chaos by conventional weapons crafted specially by his metaphysical nature Not to mention that lesser warp gods that are Primarchs' souls are working independently from chaos gods, hence other Majorkill theory fits so well with how Primarchs turned into daemon are more of sidegrades than upgrades (not to mention that Daemon Primarch Magnus being kicked so hard constantly despite juiced more by chaos and purged of his righteous shard, being so embarassingly pitiful, therefore showcasing how chaos gods aren't THE be all and end all, not to mention that Tzeentch was horrified with how Kairos was mutated from Well of Eternity visit that he feels like Kairos being so foreign from even his psychic conception of "Change", something that even horrifies chaos gods are THE REAL ELDRITCH bullshits tbh) Very good video and comprehensive for beginners too, it might need some couple deliberations like the primarchs souls being lesser warp gods that grows independently and acts by bending destinies surrounding them (as long as they have self-esteem, so not Conrad Kurze's pitiful mentality), but overall it's already way more than adequate
"better late than never" dude Benjamin Button the shit out of the algorithm, he started by the scraps at the bottom of the warhammer lore barrel, and is just now coming to the basics of what is 40k
ya know whats wild to think about, if any one chaos god took over the entire universe, nurgle would be the only one thats not that bad. yea everything would smell at first, but than the universe would be teaming with life, and all death would lead to glorious rebirth. even other immortal, or machine entities would enjoy glorious endless stagnation as life and death occur inside them. they we become eternal bastions of his cycle. PRAISE NURGLE. how beautiful his garden would be, if his garden is all that is. ❤

They are shaped by every sapient being with a sould!
Now pass those through the things through the minds of the average resident that has to suffer from, deal with, and participate in constant wars and genocides...
and VOILA
You get the chaos gods!
You actually understand what "Lovecraftian" means and I applaud you for that.
Well they were (exempt for Slaanesh she's always been bad)
Now they are:
Bloodshed/war.
Treachery/sham.
Plague/death/decay.
I would like to see a video of Major being the leader of each faction. See how he would run things, and how the galaxy would react. #MajorLeads
Ive followed this channel since 2018 and its so good to see it get better and better, with new fans coming to warhammer this channel should go to the stratosphere where it belongs
We need a channel just like this for roundabouts in 🚦 intersections all over the country.
Good episode. Lots of straight talk and no custodian love rambling.
A major mini series of the chaos gods would slap hard ! ❤
Could you do a video on the military forces of the Mechanicus/Mechanicum/Dark mechanicum, bitte
F-ing AWESOME! The God Emperor really DID light Nurgle's Garden on fire! That is SO good! I heard from somewhere that he did so with Guilliman! DUDE! I got to get that Plague Wars book! Hopefully it's on Audible!
That beginning was so f****** good
I know it's hard I'm sorry we love you damn put more of that in your videos
I love the idea that the Warp has given form to these beings because the physical realm. It just seems appropriate that mortals f everything up.
love all these videos got me into warhammer
"No chemicals"
- Flavored Air 🤨
I know, he's not too bright, bless him 😂
Technically “no chemicals” would be false even if it was just normal air due to the definition of chemical being literally anything made of atoms of differing elements.
The point gets across perfectly fine without the need to be pedantic.
@@mcarrowtime7095"without the need for being pedantic" - my friend, have you _met_ WH40K fans?
A video on how things would change if the Chaos Gods were defined more by their positive traits than their negative ones would be kinda neat.
Either a singular Chaos God or all four of them (Five if you can put a positive spin on Malal)
Heck, even just choosing when this change happens would probably get a few videos if you break it up.
The new camera setup is incredible
For Nurgle being so jolly, space hell Santa Clause, Typhus is kind of an asshole lol
Timmy is back😂
This vid reminds me of weshammers april fools vid about how the chaos gods are the good guys.
I really dig the idea that chaos is just a reflection of ourselves
The great horned rat being in the thumbnail gotta be the funniest thing i've seen all day
Here's a video idea!
What chaos faction would the loyalist primachs join (chaos undivided not an option, they have to choose one of them)
Majorkill bombing his video's monetization for the bit, love it
Been saying this for years, to the point I can't remember if I learned it from Majorkill or not. But,
"The Chaos Gods are nothing but accidents the Warp happened to vomit out when all the true powers of the galaxy were looking the other way."
Their affecting things *before* the War in Heaven doesn't change this.
I love chaos gods videos. Super cool
Psyker disciplines explained please. From all the factions
Very cool lighting change!
Perfectly captures why emoting is important.
Certain sentences and words just come out slurred if the face is mute.
I imagine The growth of chaos as a fourth dimensional pond of oil in the sea.
With time being the character creator slider. Always being there, but not always the same shape.
Grandpa Nurgle, the Garden tender, loves his creations, chill, always concucting plagues and diseases~ to be shared for everyone~
Now you've finished all the heresy novels, can you please do a tier list on the performance of each of the Primarchs during the heresy?
Entertaining video. Danny Fortuna in shambles.
I like to compare slaanesh to the cenobites from hellraiser. They are both about pleasure, pain, sensation, and shattering the concept of limits.
Souls crushed together
Sounds like someone sitting on the golden throne
😁😁😁😁
Nice job keeping in the out takes
0:33 love the human moment there, word are hard lol
Dude a custom Royal Rumble in a wrestling game, with the Chaos gods starting, would be sick
Good job! You got it out!
Love the video, but I am curious to learn if there's anything that you think could be a strong enough tether to bring one of the chaos gods into the material universe.
I thought there was gonna be sick beat drop! On topic, I hope they have Slaanesh in the next Space Marine game...that would be awesome.
ORKTOBER, AN YA TALKIN’ BOUT DA WIERD BIGGUNZ’. STEAD OF GORK N’ MORK!!!
Looking more jacked Major. Keep it up. Soon you’ll be a Primaris.
Really like the Chaos Gods as definitions of gods. They feel far more abstract and wide scopped then Mytholgoy gods that is close to been a powerful super human then a god.
Knorne: Corn enjoyer
Nurgle: Turd burglar enthusiast
Tzeentch: Bird lover
Slaanesh: The second child you be less strict to.
18 seconds in...Tzeentch has seized control of Majorkill's speech centres. Lol!!!
I usually catch these videos as soon as they're uploaded, so sorry for being late to contribute to the algorithm with a comment, but I do want to give my 2 cents
Tzeentch will never be honest with you, Tzeentch demands your sanity
Slaneesh will never restrain you, but it demands your soul
Khorne will never lie to you, but he demands your humanity
Nurgle will always tell the truth, but he demands your pain
Just my 2 cents. Nurgle is forever Grandpapa Nurgle, the chaos god I want to see redeemed most.
2:46 Imagine going to a knight world for the regular tithe and seeing that shit on the wall
"If you want something funny to suck on"- This one is definitely a cultist of Slaanesh in disguise.
Eldar and Necrons at their peak fought side by side against Chaos during the War in Heaven
@@christiandauz3742
What’s your point?
@@rustkarl
Chaos is the main and most powerful antagonist in Fantasy/Age of Sigmar so why not 40k?
@@christiandauz3742
It’s already been well established to be a prime antagonist. It doesn’t have to be forced into everything.
8:20 symbolism, the word you are looking is sssssymbolism
That bad takes section made me laugh. Like actually laugh, not blow air through my nose.
I’ve never been so fuckin hype to see a mistake take in a video. Majors had fun making this one
Bro is on the grind lately
In general, the vast majority of humans are actually ok and nice to each other, so really the positive feeling gods should be the most powerful.
Not in WH40k
(And not in places like Philippines and Brazil - and I know about the latter for I live in Brazil)
There is a fifth one...
Also, I like that Timmy is slowly crawling back into the videos. If you keep him in reserve for the "achktually" folks, I think we can leave the spawn of nurgle in the videos. :P
Best intro since Timmy went back to the void!
FEAST UPON THE DELIGHTS OF THIS WORLD!!
Majokill! Make a Gabriel Angelos model! One i can proxy Guilliman with! And my life, is yours!
Calm down Kratos
Majorkill: No cursing in the first minute of the video for monetization purposes.
Also Majorkill: "Fuck!" in the first minute. lol
"You want to have as much fun as possible without nuking your health."
You dont know me.
Thought I was having a seizure at the beginning til I realized you posted the bloopers at the beginning 😂
The chaos gods are literally just Egregore, which is a concept that's been around for a really long time.
Broh, the lens flare 🤌 also thanks for reminding me I need to work out
“If you just want something fun to suck on” how can he say that with such a happy straight face ? Lmaoo
Honestly, I really hope Vashtoor ascends to become a proper chaos god soon.
It would be great to have a logical, polite god who does not backstab everyone or smells like crap.
Like the dark king for the humans, and slaneesh for the eldar, i have always supposed that every chaos god is a paradigma of a fallen great race.
What I really like with Majorkill at handling Warp-related topics is he keep emphasized Games Workshop's constant retcons about The Warp and frequent exaggerations with it, that makes digging Warhammer 40K borderline insufferable especially to powerscalers that think Warhammer 40K is the most overpowered settings (especially at misinforming newbies), therefore brushing the more interesting dynamics of how Warp gods works in delicate cycles of ups and downs (including gods of order, gods of chaos, neutral-aligned gods to Galaxy-ending threat like Hivemind's "Shadow in The Warp"), with Emperor as turning point that can shakes things up as so far being the only Warp entity that can permanently shedding chaos by conventional weapons crafted specially by his metaphysical nature
Not to mention that lesser warp gods that are Primarchs' souls are working independently from chaos gods, hence other Majorkill theory fits so well with how Primarchs turned into daemon are more of sidegrades than upgrades (not to mention that Daemon Primarch Magnus being kicked so hard constantly despite juiced more by chaos and purged of his righteous shard, being so embarassingly pitiful, therefore showcasing how chaos gods aren't THE be all and end all, not to mention that Tzeentch was horrified with how Kairos was mutated from Well of Eternity visit that he feels like Kairos being so foreign from even his psychic conception of "Change", something that even horrifies chaos gods are THE REAL ELDRITCH bullshits tbh)
Very good video and comprehensive for beginners too, it might need some couple deliberations like the primarchs souls being lesser warp gods that grows independently and acts by bending destinies surrounding them (as long as they have self-esteem, so not Conrad Kurze's pitiful mentality), but overall it's already way more than adequate
Only Rick cared about coherency in the warp, and he wasnt all that coherent, how do you explain the contrary of logic anyways?
"better late than never" dude Benjamin Button the shit out of the algorithm, he started by the scraps at the bottom of the warhammer lore barrel, and is just now coming to the basics of what is 40k
No lie I had to do a quadruple take with the failed outtakes lol great one
0:17 - 0:26
Tzeentch is having fun with this guy
ya know whats wild to think about, if any one chaos god took over the entire universe, nurgle would be the only one thats not that bad. yea everything would smell at first, but than the universe would be teaming with life, and all death would lead to glorious rebirth. even other immortal, or machine entities would enjoy glorious endless stagnation as life and death occur inside them. they we become eternal bastions of his cycle. PRAISE NURGLE. how beautiful his garden would be, if his garden is all that is. ❤
Bro really had me checking my phone to see if my internet was fucking up.
I reckon Nurgle and Khorn would be the guys you could have a beer with. Tzeench and Slanesh probably would ruffie you.
Day 37 of begging Majorminis to produce a Rylanor miniature
WOOOOOOOO NEW DROP
MajorKill just seems like the kind of dude that I'd be down to go get a beer with while Arch is the kind of guy I'd do my utmost to avoid being seen with.
Arch would try and measure ur skull
I would like to see more of Gork and Mork in the current setting.
The Emperor has always been the God of Chaos Undivided
