How did you know to run that direction to find the village and stornghold

Strongholds on bedrock spawn under villages around 800 200, 800 800, or somewhere super far. This village was around 700 200 so I knew it had a chance

Great run! I’m new to speedrunning, and always see bedrock runners just run up to villages without seeing them. Is there a trick to it? Or is it just running in the direction you’d guess it is and hope that’s right? Same thing with fortresses.

On bedrock stronghold spawn under villages at far away coordinates, so we run to them and then dig down and try to enter the nether through the portal room.

Villages tend to spawn on the same x or z coordinate so if you see one at 100x 100z there is more likely than not going to be another at 100x 500-1000z or 500-1000x 100z
