I think wide arches on the GT86 just transforms the whole car and makes it sooo much better! You going to put rocketbunny arches on the rear aswell? New ´deep-dish´ rims? Good job!
I don't think I'm going to do the rear but we'll see what it looks like once its outside
I think that will look amazing just doing the front - Rocket Badger !
Won't it look odd only having wide arches on the front?
I always enjoy the GT86 vids the most, and i must say the paint job looked sweet.
Looks ace! From a distance you wont even be able tell i wont think :D
Have you see B is for builds RB kit install?
Yeah watched his video the other day
Please widen the rear as well so the car is even. Even better if you can get a full rocketbunny kit.
I think it looks fine with just the fronts done tbh, but I'll see when I get it outside and see it from a distance
2:16 nice protective measures :D wearing goggles but no hat, good thing he´s got no hair xd
Well done, looks clean m8. Stuff like this quickly looks messy if not done properly.
Pretty neat man, I'm very particular about my cars like that too.. Its a shame some things you just have to accept not being perfectly how you want.
It's awesome to see how this Gt86 changes every week, keep working guys :)
Cool, just watched a few of the GT86 vids, saw you/car at Rockingham on Thursday (Outer Paddock Drift) and was meaning to come over and have a chat. I could see the arches (very nice job) but wondered if you'd done much else, can see now you have. Interested as I circuit race a GT86, did the Silverstone 24hr earlier this year and doing the Birkett/Silverstone 6hr in it at the end of this month. I'm not the owner it's a team I race for (Rogue Motorsport) and the car is pretty standard engine wise/suspension wise as it was to form the basis for a Production race series, probably won't happen anytime soon though as the cars need to be a fair bit quicker than the current Mk2/Mk3 MR2 race cars and they aren't really. Hence interested in the mods. I see you went the Turbo route which would be my favored direction.
Some onboards on my youtube channel if you are interested.
#trackslag steps up another level! Looks great. How's the hydraulic handbrake (cha-ching) coming along? Do you watch Adam LZ's drift vids?
I don't but I think Sean has mentioned his channel before. Hydro handbrake is progressing a bit faster now that I've bought my own 3D printer to make the prototypes mounting brackets with
The 86 is looking awesome👍🏻

The GT86 is missing zip ties anyway, so why not fix the bumper issue with some? :D
No, serious now:
I assume you don't want to take off the bumper regularly, that's why I would take a small metal plate and bolt or rivet it in the inside of the wheel arch/ inside of the original bumper and fender. Because you have the rockey bunny kit on, both bolts can't be seen from the outside.
Hope you can understand what I mean.
I do actually take the bumper off kind of often for various reasons (fixing something, modifying something, etc etc) so I don't want anything too permanent
Are you planning to do the rear too? Looks odd only in the front.
"we have seen someone with a wayy bigger gap* *shows (probably) Fredric Aasbø in the 86x getting mad angle*
yeah that's who's car it was
I love what you do with this 86
your video quality increases with each video, what editing software do you use?
he has made a video about it, but he uses Sony Vegas pro.
are you 3D-printing parts for the car in the background? :D
maaaaybe
Fredric Aasbø Drift car! ;)
I think the gap only sticks out because you know it's there and the only people that will notice will be looking for it.
yeah a friend came round and didn't even notice it. I think once its out on the road/track it won't be noticeable at all
Soooo nice
Might as well do the whole rocket bunny kit.
don't think I'm going to, but we will see
The music choice ❤️❤️❤️❤️ wow, you have awesome taste, also, them wide arches are so hot, can't wait or the angle kit
Glad you appreciate the music :) always hard to find music that goes with the video and that I like lol
+DedicationBlog yeah, even for me, I find I hard, but now I jut use NCS (NoCopyRightSounds) music, check out their (probs the wrong their, I got a D in my English GCSE) channel, some of the songs are good 😊
You know it's serious business when bold Yoda is looking at the instructions! Awesome job guys!
haha except he looked at them and then just drew the line on by hand without measuring it anyway
+DedicationBlog hahahaha!
Hey man if you jump on ebay you can buy steel bumper kits that stops bumper sag 😊
I'll have a look into that, cheers!
+DedicationBlog hey mate check carthrottlr i post a comment on you last post with were you can get them with cost price enjoy! 😊
mind me asking what that colour is called?
stealth grey
yeah like he said, stealth grey (its on the new Focus RS)
😳😍 oh... More mods!!!
we all know a project car is never finished ;)
Don't know if its in bad taste, but i was wondering if you have a guesstament how much you've put into the car at the moment, turbo, break mods and so on?
i think he said in an earlier video, my guess would be around £30k
going to do a video on that at some point soon. I'd say somewhere between 20K to 30K but we'll see when I add it all up...
DedicationBlog Its crazy the amount of money thats gone into that, plus all the hours of work. And yet still no Hydro XD At least youve got a 3D printer now
StealerOfSoles haha I know right. Soon though... soon.
Been looking forward to this video! Did you get this got off Knight Racer or Nige?
Wait, nige is making these? I thought he made them for himself as a one off
Yeah from Nige. He did a good job making them and was happy to help with questions and give tips on how to install it. Don't think he's making any more now though
DedicationBlog
Out of interest, are they based off the original RB arch, or Nige's widened versions he made to fit his tires?
TheArmcoBarrier
yeah, I just went back to see the thread, I had forgotten just how different his new ones are to the originals!
Sup guys
supppppppppppppp
looks mad dude! well done.
how have u not got 1mil subs
because we don't have rich parents to buy new supercars for us every few months ;)
+DedicationBlog dig at Tim150? 😂 jk he problem works hard for them baby's, or has a hella rich daddy 😂
why didn't you put the rb bumber on the car ?
No need to, it's a drift car, not a stance, rice, static, or any other piece of crap, he RB bumper looks like crap, and is way to expensive to put on a drift car, since t will get ruined so quickly, use your head a little, lol
+MULTIBASHUR 1999 yeah i know its a drift car but if he had the kit then why didn't he put the full kit on
This is the V1 kit, which uses the stock front bumper, it's the V2 kit that has a new front bumper
