I went through something very similar, my cousin's bf sexually harassed me (he was 30 and I was 13 at the time) and I repressed the whole thing, telling myself it was just a bad dream. But, every time I saw him it hurt and I couldn’t deny it anymore. I told my family about it after 6 months of hating myself and not knowing why, I was scared to tell everyone bc he was loved by everyone. I was scared they would tell me that he was joking, or I was overreacting. But when they found out they did not hesitate to kick his ass out of the family, to this day I still struggle accepting that it happened, I’ve been suffering with PTSD ever since then. I'm finally good now, but people don’t understand how damaging it is when these things happen. The self blame, the self destruction, the not understanding what truly happened, the fear, it truly feels like you're alone.

Recently we just realized our 6 year best friend had been harassing our entire circle, me included (we are all afabs save for that one friend). We've all been friends with the guy since the first year of highschool and at that time, yeah he had a lot of issues like he can be explosive and just blows up on his responsibilities, and unnecessarily handsy but we all for some reason just brush it off as a "him thing" to do. Like thats just who he is and cuz he's our friend, he's supposed to get passes right? I thought it was all just me because everyone knew that he and I have the biggest love-hate relationship as friends. We fought a lot and i had a lot of things i hated about him but the thing i was the proudest of was that i can trust him to back me up when i need to and that we'd always be friends. It's kind of ironic how in our circle I was always the one that have somhing against him but I'm always the first to break and apologize jut to try to get him to be friends with me again. I was attached to him. He and one of our other best friends dated and when they broke up, they told us it was a chill break up. And because they said that, I couldnt understand why she didnt like talking to him anymore. 2 years later (june this year) she revealed to us how hella toxic and controlling he was and broke his promise that they wouldnt have sex. when she said that, one by one our entire circle came out with similar stories of that very friend demanding nudes from all of us even after we repeatedly say no, asking me to take off my shirt in my own home until my parents came home, and how much he took advantage of our artist friends to do cheap work for him. Sometimes dont even pay for them. He was awful as hell and we had no choice but just to cut him off. Right on his birthday. this guy had a lot of personal issues too and that doesnt justify what he did but i still felt so broken over it. I hated the guy but it's like, he was my friend. 6 years man in a way i can relate to lily about knowing this person being bad and it hurt but it's hard not to care about them. mad at them and disappointed yes, but that doesnt mean it's easy to stop caring. maybe it's 6 years of grooming or it's some sort of bad attachment either way, it didnt change the fact that though a lot of those times we spent were not good , there were, if only just a few, moments when it genuinely felt like we're all just wholesome friends who got each others backs. So the realization was a mix of disbelief and all. Yvonne and the others' statements about trusting Fed or having him as their closest friend really just reminded me alot of this bhajnsdk Our friend is getting better and sorta doing well. he tried to reach out to us, some of our friends took him in but of course at a distance, i accepted his apology but made it clear that i dont think i can ever get back with him the same way.

Damn. Lily wanting Fed to be better really touched me. I've dealt with alcoholism, and I've affected a few of my friends in terrible ways because of it, but every one of them didn't give up on me and just wanted me to be the best version of myself that they know. I never understood why my friends and family didn't just disown me, but then I realized that I've helped people who weren't doing the best themselves. I guess what I'm saying is that I felt alone, and didn't care about other people, but someone out there cares about you, whether you feel like that's true or not.

Do everyone who relates to this indecent here is my story. I was in the 5th grade and we had to learn ballroom dance for a show we had coming up. One day during practice my partner touched me. I spent the whole day terrified of what had happened. I told my mom and she told the school but nothing happened. I still had to work with him and he wasn't even punished. The next year he would stalk me at recess and he would always try to play with me and my friends. He wouldn't leave us alone no matter what we did. We would tell the teachers he was following us and he wouldn't even care that he was getting a warning. Thank fully I am no longer in school. It still hurts to think about it.
I used to watch lilypichu’s UA-cam videos a while ago, I don’t really watch her as much as I used to but this news caught me by surprise, when I hear about I just thought “lilypichu? Recently we just realized our 6 year best friend had been harassing our entire circle, me included (we are all afabs save for that one friend). We've all been friends with the guy since the first year of highschool and at that time, yeah he had a lot of issues like he can be explosive and just blows up on his responsibilities, and unnecessarily handsy but we all for some reason just brush it off as a "him thing" to do. Like thats just who he is and cuz he's our friend, he's supposed to get passes right? I thought it was all just me because everyone knew that he and I have the biggest love-hate relationship as friends. We fought a lot and i had a lot of things i hated about him but the thing i was the proudest of was that i can trust him to back me up when i need to and that we'd always be friends. It's kind of ironic how in our circle I was always the one that have somhing against him but I'm always the first to break and apologize jut to try to get him to be friends with me again. I was attached to him.
He and one of our other best friends dated and when they broke up, they told us it was a chill break up. And because they said that, I couldnt understand why she didnt like talking to him anymore. 2 years later (june this year) she revealed to us how hella toxic and controlling he was and broke his promise that they wouldnt have sex.
when she said that, one by one our entire circle came out with similar stories of that very friend demanding nudes from all of us even after we repeatedly say no, asking me to take off my shirt in my own home until my parents came home, and how much he took advantage of our artist friends to do cheap work for him. Sometimes dont even pay for them.

Our friend is getting better and sorta doing well. he tried to reach out to us, some of our friends took him in but of course at a distance, i accepted his apology but made it clear that i dont think i can ever get back with him the same way.

I know multiple people that are Borderline or Bipolar, none of them act this way. Damn. Lily wanting Fed to be better really touched me. I've dealt with alcoholism, and I've affected a few of my friends in terrible ways because of it, but every one of them didn't give up on me and just wanted me to be the best version of myself that they know.
I never understood why my friends and family didn't just disown me, but then I realized that I've helped people who weren't doing the best themselves.
I guess what I'm saying is that I felt alone, and didn't care about other people, but someone out there cares about you, whether you feel like that's true or not.

I was in the 5th grade and we had to learn ballroom dance for a show we had coming up. One day during practice my partner touched me. I spent the whole day terrified of what had happened. I told my mom and she told the school but nothing happened. I still had to work with him and he wasn't even punished. The next year he would stalk me at recess and he would always try to play with me and my friends. He wouldn't leave us alone no matter what we did. We would tell the teachers he was following us and he wouldn't even care that he was getting a warning. Thank fully I am no longer in school. It still hurts to think about it.
